  1. I don't know, dude. it sounds fine to me. The lyrics and tempo just match the animation well. It fits the trend lately of solemn music juxtaposed against brutal carnage (IE: Dead Island) That and it just sounds like stuff they play around here anyways. Moody, with just enough country twang to live by.

Y'all got me. I'm not a G1 guy. Did y'all see this though? I've been almost dreaming about it ever since it was announced.

I feel like I'm alone in this, cause most people seem to love it. It just seems like a crappy anime music video made by a 14 year old girl to me.

Luckily though, I played the first one, enjoyed, and won't hold this horrible trailer against them, I'm still interested in playing the sequel.

As for something more TF toy related. Got myself a couple of junkheaps to go with my two wreck-gar. Did some part swapping on a junkheap and a wreckgar, so each one looks unique. Got a little junkion clan.

  2. Can we atleast be teased with some concept art at toy fair or with a prototype of another beast?Or with a giveaway of another beast or the same gator so I can finally buy one in a reasonable price?

It kind of figures, the easiest one to get, ended up being my least favorite color scheme.

I still hope they do one as a homage to the original grusome gator with white skin and green armor

  3. Also, I went to the Hasbro booth where they were handing out the TF Kreon and they said they are heavily thinking about also selling the TF Kreons without playsets.

Considering the kreons sell for so much 2nd hand, and I've already heard of people buying kreo-'s and returning them sans kreons, or just straight up stealing the kreons, that's a great idea.

  4. so basically the entire panel was saying NO to this and that? wow....

Even battle beasts, which they have the rights to.

They still don't know how to launch BB after all this years. I now wonder if they will ever find a way to release them.

I know, I've just about given up on them.

I think I'd rather see them sell the rights back to hasbro and they could slide back into the transformers/GI Joe universe.

I'm surprised with the Robot Heroes, Galatic Heores and super hero squad, hasbro didn't think to make battle beasts there, but I guess they didn't have the rights.

Diamond have had he rights for like...3 years? I guess I just feel, if they won't use it, they should let it go.

  5. well the prototypes we saw, the gorilla, iguana, rhino, gator and octopus were not based on the minimate design at all. Though, they were very much homages of the original battle beasts, except any indication of fire/wood/water.

I think they are debating the right way to do it.

Maybe there is a debate to do smaller figures with random elements. Or larger figures that either have no elements or its set every time. Or maybe they can't do rubsigns and so on. So, they're in development hell.

The stuff I've seen, be it a minimate style or a bigger figure, I'd get either. Though I'd love it if they could incorporate the elements, rubsigns aren't necessary for that.

  6. I'm wondering if the addition of the Battle Beast was a "soft re-solicit" to see if they could bump interest up any more before deciding to pull the plug.

Are they having trouble releasing them?

It seems as if they've been hyping and hyping battle beasts with the con giveaways. How can they really judge the interest based on exclusives?

  7. Okay. Enough. I get it. I was the only person in the world who actually liked X3. You can all shut up now. :glare:

Actually lots of people liked it. The DVD sales did pretty well.

They just did alot of silly stupid things in x-men 3 so they could work around all the actors schedules. That's where comics have a huge advantage, a drawing is always ready to do what you tell it.
