Here's the issue with the X-Force 'mates; I understand not liking them, because of the design, but what some of us are saying is this:

The design of the figure is spot on for the character. You may hate the character design, but that doesn't make these bad 'mates, it just means you don't like the source material.

Example: I don't like the look of Bane in The Dark Knight Rises, but the Movies Masters figure is pretty damn good, as it's an accurate representation of the character design. Doesn't mean I want it, just that I can appreciate a job well done in translating the character to plastic. On the flip side, while I'm a fan of Nightwing, the recent figure based on his Arkham City appearance is a let down because the face sculpt is entirely too apathetic and the articulation far too limited. I don't want either figure, but there's a difference between the bad figure I don't want and the good figure I don't want.

If DST could figure out a way to produce Minimate vending machines, something that could be magically restocked as needed, that would be awesome. Until then, while my fantasy has been to see a 'mates-only endcap, it's good to see various parts of the planogram assimilated by this viral plastic crack addiction.

They're all TRU exclusives, except Daredevil. Not sure why only two have stickers.

Yeah, I'm gonna pass. I am a fan of the Raimi Spideys ( SM2 still my gold standard for judging comic book movies). SM3 needed either another 1/2 hour or one less villian. I blame Sony for listening to the "fans" that wanted Venom, even though Raimi had gone on record as not a Venom fan. Zach has a good point about Dunst, I would rather see her as Gwen & get killed in the 1st movie & BDH play MJ for the rest that way neither had to dye their hair. I agree with Dino, I think it's too soon for a reboot, esp with the others so fresh. But really, I want to rights to return home where they belong, with Marvel (along w/ FF, Ghost Rider, X-Men & DD) so we can have one big Marvel film universe. That being said, there are a few pieces in this wave I'll pick up, but most are a pass so I can brace my wallet for the treats we're going to get at SDCC!

I feel alone here, but I really do like the suit and for that I will be getting the Spider-man/Parker set.

I won't be seeing the movie, but I do like the suit, at least in minimate form. That set & the two sets with The Stacey's are on my buy list.

Hydro Iron Man and Savage Hulk. I loved the new bulked Hulks & have a soft spot for IMs crazy Armors, plus if it gets made I don't have to attempt a custom. Trust me, it was tough my love of Cap almost got me voting for Cap-Wolf. But I'd be happy with any of these! Although I would like to see a Deathlock mate to go with Cyborg Spidey!
