Anybody heard of anything this week?

So its possible the razor sets may be out somewhere this week then, seeing as how they were a week behind with the Silience of the Lamb mates. Right?

My SOL mates have shipped from cornerstorecomics, and I thought they'd be here today but it looks like its gonna be Monday.

Unfortunantly looks like nothing till monday for me. Hopefully somebody will post something before then!

I'm looking forward to these too! Mine should be here tomorrow in the mail...if nobodys posted pics by then , I will!

Just wondering if anyone has heard anything about releases this week, seeing as there are a few sets that are on diamonds site that are marked for release this week....

Seeing as I make no secret of not liking the Desperately Seeking Susan minimates I thought I would get it off my chest.

To be fair if any one want a "We Want DSS Minimates" because they like the figures I will make one.

Ya know-all this bashing of these mates kinda bothers me-even if I don't like some of the mates that are produced I don't keep repeating how much I dislike them-in fact I say nothing negative about them because more mates means more mates!

I certainly would not make a banner stating my dislike for them, because as you know some people really want these and take offense to some people jinxing thier production!

I for one could care less about Dr. Who mates, but you don't see me ripping on them!

I know this is a youtube video and theres a place for them, but seeing as how its from a movie that these mates are based on, I thought I'd post this here...check it out its pretty entertaining!

Got my new goblin today...thanks! Now I finally have something that has the "multiverse" logo to go on the shelves with the mates!

I like moviemates a lot. I loved the X-Men 3 mates, as well as the Spider-Man 3.

But, maybe moviemates should be boxsets? Also, Hulk is not the most diverse looking hero. It looks like DST was trying to capture the darkness of the new movie, and made the mates kind of dark too.

Honestly, I don't think they are quite as bad as everyone is making them out to be. Gen. Ross and Betty look good. Enough to where I can tell what characters they are. Bruce looks a little off, but I think that is the look they are going for in the new movie. The "monsters" are okay, but as I said, Hulk is not too diverse. Seen one Hulk, you kind of seen them all.

Plus, many are complaining about likeness... but these are minimates! Likeness isn't always possible.

I agree with you...these are minimates and it would be impossible to get them spot on. That being said, they are all- right minimates and I will buy them, and I think I kinda like the waist part rather then the old ones...at least its not "hollowed" out inside!

Getting back on topic here...I'm totally excited that this set is going to be made!

It's one of the ones I've been looking forward to most!

Now lets hope we get some more "old time" movies like a Breakfast Club boxset!!!

Gotta speak my opinion on BSG.

I collect all minimates. Having never seen a BSG show until yesterday, I bought them in the past with an open mind, thinking how cool the show must be in order to put a large number of toys in the market.

And then the show was watched........................................

After painfully wasting 1 hour of my life on bad scripting, bad acting, and bad effects, I now will add BSG into the crap pile of shows that are terrible that should have never had a toy line (i.e. Buffy, Angel, BSG, Dr. Who, etc., etc.).

I will buy them all because I collect, but I now will do it scoffing the whole time I am shelling out my duckets.

I know I am obviously a minnow amongst sharks in this thread, seeing that most of you are fans of the show, but before you eat me up, I had to put it out there...

.........enjoyed the original BSG series

.........played Street Fighter or Speed Racer

.........heard of 50% of the DC range of characters

I do however enjoy the opinions of people in this forum who have one thing in common ....... Minimates.

If.... you make it to 40 & can still enjoy toys, then I can assure you that your life was not meaningless & you will be able to 'Relax' . In the meantime would you please realise that verbally abusing someone on the internet is 'not big & clever' even if you are a fully-growed-up 28 year old, mind you, apologising would show you've got real 'stubble on your chin' .

I agree...I personally am hoping they do some more movie/music stuff from things you never thought that you'd hear of again from the past...so don't kill them before they even start making them !

As far as the Madonna mate, its one of my favorite ones shown along with Platoon.

Great News! I've been hoping they would make Madonna since I heard the news! Yippee!

Just all over the walls in my bedroom, a couple on my cars dash board, and a couple on my computer at work...so their pretty much everywhere I go--but not on me!

I was actually more anxious about getting this set with George, just because he's a new figure and not another version of ones we already have.
