Picked up all the sets this week at TRU in Olympia, WA. Very cool, shame about only getting part of a blank minimate with the police sets and the additional arms/blank chest tampo mix-up.
-
Shipping was only $8 for me, so I went ahead and pre-ordered one set. I see that I was charged immediately despite it being a pre-order, not a practice I'm fond of.
-
My interest in this set is to use the Deadpool to change a few things I don't like about the First Appearance Deadpool from SDCC. That and I never managed to pick up the wave 28 Wolverine. As long as it's not outrageously overpriced.
-
How exactly will these be distributed? A quick google search for both toy brigade and xtreme toys comes up with nada.
-
My daughter had been counting down the last month to the series' debut. So far I'm impressed by how it's being done.
-
From a grand re-opening of a Disney Store in San Fran yesterday. Lots of Marvel Select figures(which is a welcome surprise), but no minimates just yet.
-
Nicely done Luke, I've been toying with the idea of doing something similar since my daughter likes to critique all the new 'mates that I get.
-
Still quite excited to get Juggernaut and Nightcrawler, even with the photo discrepancies. My daughter will love Meggan, and Capn Britain looks decent enough.
-
No worries, just wanted to make sure you were fully aware of the back story on it. And most importantly, I wanted to make sure I didn't have an unhappy buyer.
Glad to hear you're going to keep it.
-
I am that seller and they're new straight from the factory backdoor to me in a large lot of minimates. Likely defects as someone said. No scam no lies, I never claimed it's a wave 2 spider only that it was a symbiote spider-man.
I look forward to hearing if you decide to return it.

Warm water always works for me. Just be careful not to distort the mask while it's warm and pliable.
-
The alternate mask/helmet on the WW2 version totally fixes my only complaint with this set. Looking forward to getting them.

If we could get a 90s Colossus, both the X-Men and Excalibur teams of the 90s would be complete and all that would be left to finish is X-Force (which has Shatterstar and Cannonball coming to add to that) and X-Factor (which we haven't had anyone made yet from)
Now that we've seen that a proper Juggernaut, a redone Colossus is high on my must list. As is Strong Guy

I definitely keep to buying only selected MU figures because of the price
I do too, only one of every character and every version of Iron Man.
I was that way with MU and CARS for some time, now minimates are my only "have to have them" line.
For everything else I only buy figures now that my kids show interest in.
-
Ratchet & Clank minimates is just pure awesomeness. Little Big Planet would also be spectacular to see.
-
Damn, I am going to need a lot more toy money very soon. Can't wait to pick all the new stuff up. And despite dropping $20 to get Deadpool a few months ago, I'd still gladly pick him up again in that box set.
-
Found the complete set in Tigard, OR last night. Well worth the wait, especially since I hadn't been able to pick up any of the older FF4 sets since I started collecting.
-
Looking forward to seeing if the new flight stand still makes an appearance in this set. I'm sure I'll be picking this up regardless.
-
So, am I the only one who's expecting the modern Heroic Age set that was shown to still be released (probably at TRU)?
That's my interpretation of it too.
And I suspect this set will have the typical Disney Store higher price until a seasonal sale comes along.
-
Excellent, I've been hoping for news on this set. I hope this means we'll be seeing it on the pegs at TRU in the next few weeks.
A little off that WWII Cap looks like he's wearing a football helmet, other than that I'm liking them all. Especially the lack of those awful gauntlets.
-
I'm way more pumped about these than the SDCC sets. Can't wait for them to be available at Lukes.
-
Dude.just.wow, those are so much more than I was expecting. Great pics and reviews, thanks!
-
Nada in SW Washington still, I'm getting impatient hearing about sightings everywhere else.
-
Damn, I'm in the "need extra sets" boat on this one too. That blast effect does look really out of place, or maybe it's just burn out from it being used so much. A red remold of the one shown with Thor from the Heroic Age set would have worked.

Looks like they updated their pre-order page to note that this will begin shipping this coming week. 11/30
