These were certainly prototyped fast! Looks like they're coming in the form of box sets. I wonder who will be paired with who.

I was just looking at the design sheets again and on the Jean/Phoenix minimate, I realized it's not a new hair piece or a reused new Medusa hairpiece we haven't seen. Isn't this hair the Jim Lee Jean Grey hair from wave 34 so if anything it's a reuse of that?

We are getting Zero and he has a ton of new parts!! I wish each minimate had at least one new part.

The only reason I would be excited for this would be if we get Mega Man and Zero. Other than that I would probably buy the sets but wouldn't be excited about it.

If it was Inhumans Medusa wouldn't it say Marvel Femme Fatale and not DST Femme Fatale Or it may be some generic character or other license?

I'm going to hope that it's option 2 since that would open up the Inhumans pack to being Triton, Gorgon, Karnak and Maximus. The latter I was worried would never squeeze in because he doesn't really have an exciting design. Not that I wouldn't mind more Inhumans but that would cover the big names. I always thought that an Inhumans set would be a con exclusive as well and at least 2 of those every year have to be X-themed.

I can't really see a way they could 'untool' the snakes from that hairpiece so I agree that it's the Marvel version. Either way I'm thrilled to see even the barest hint that any Inhumans could be coming this year...

Whoever's hair it is, I like it much better on Jean than the one from Secret Invasion since the hair from Secret Invasion makes it look like she has "shorter" hair. And technically it was a skrull. Here's hoping for White and Dark Phoenix variants!

Looking BEAUTIFUL. JEAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Arthur looks funny, Dormammu looks like a badass, and that frakking SPider-man!!! It ISN'T the factory that's making that web lines error. They are DESIGNED without the webs going all the way around the wrists/ankles.

Waiting for Wesker, Chris, and Jill. Ryu looks much better, though. and, Viewtiful Joe.

I see we're going to get a green phoenix!!!! I hope we can get a White Phoenix of the Crown variant. She uses that costume in the game. And Dark Phoenix too!!

Not excited for this movie at all. None of the X-Men I care about are in this movie and it just sounds like a hot mess.

Oh gawd, please don't acknowledge bad ideas like Miss Sinister by giving her a minimate. Gross. It should be AOA sinister as the variant if Sinister is to get one.

Just got this box set. Everything looks good except by Jean Grey has a horrendous paint job, the red is all splotchy and mishapen on her legs and the blue on her legs is barely covering it compared to the pics posted earlier.

Strange though is that my Apoc came looking right with his extra torso piece on top.(I didn't have to flip it)

With the close up pics Jean's boobs make much more sense now. I see the curve of the red on black forming the outline of her boobs.

So here is the flawed Apocalypse. Picture #1 depicts how he came out of the box. Note the postion on the detail of the belt and the position of the detail of the prototype in the 5th picture. The center image is of the minimate wearing the belt properly and you can clearly see the design is upside down. You can see how sloppy the upsidedown belt makes the mate look in pics 3 & 4. I personally think this was a blunder at the factory and not some stroke of genius of making Apocalypse taller. If that was the case, DST /AA could have come up with a better looking solution.

I saw that same one at my Tru, but it was misplaced and didn't have a tag on it. When I finally found out the price for a regular sized figure I quickly put it back. lol

It sucks that we are seeing this price increase but it's happening with all other toylines too.

The last time I was at TRU, I spotted an awesome 7" Mickey figure from Kingdom Hearts, and I started reaching for it, until I saw the price tag: $24.99! I almost needed a new pair of shorts.

Nice pics! Here's hoping we get some nice shots of the other set too. That's the one I'm looking forward to the most.

Some comments. I still wish Sunfire was either all translucent or all clear. The mix looks strange to me.

Also not sure I like how pale the yellow on Rogue's T-piece looks.

Otherwise great set though.

My comic shop overcharges for their mates too which is why I'd rather buy online.

Magik's base would work for Blink too. Totally see them casting it in pink for Clarice.

You're probably right, I'd be happy with a Blink and Sabretooth 2 pack and a Sinister and Holocaust 2 pack at Tru.

Also want an AOA Sinister and a normal Sinister soon.

I think an AOA Sentinel & Madri 2-pack would be awesome. Army building madness for all - alas i don't think we'll ever see them due to their relative obscurity. We might get one if they were to ever do an AOA LCS wave, but since most of the popular characters have been done, this seems a bit unlikely now.

EDIT: I was also really hanging out for a Holocaust Minimate since he was one of the only characters to make it across from the AOA to the 616. . . but maybe all the new sculpting would cost too much?
