I'm definitely hoping the next wave is an Xmen series over Spidey. There's a lot more left to cover in the Xmen area, compared to Spidey.
There's enough Spidey stuff for me with TRU 17 and Spidey 2 movie mates (yea they haven't been announced but u know they coming)
Also the Spidey characters I'd like to be made probably have little chance (chameleon, classic beetle, tombstone)
Dude, those would be awesome. In a future wave they should feature Mach-V, with classic Beetle as the variant (or vice versa). Satisfy both Thunderbolts and Spidey fans.

Would they redo the old DOFP Wolverine variant? Because I'd love to get him and the GSXM box set Thunderbird redone! But I thought the rule was they would never be remade and were "exclusive".
Thunderbird is sorely in need of a redo, IMO. I'd love to see a redone Thunderbird, classic Sunfire, and Banshee all released in the same wave.
Yeah, a Thunderbird redo would be cool, especially if he came with alternate parts to make X-Force Warpath!
Agreed. The X-Force Warpath we have now is decent, but I'd prefer a bulked-up version of him at some point.

X-Villains you say?
In keeping with my love of obscure or utterly cr@p x-villains, maybe we could get:
Number 1 Fan & Peepers
Thumbelina & Kali
Romulus & ... GIDEON
I've never heard of any of those characters.

Stop! No more photos until we all have them!
I second that.

I think the fact that everyone here is impressed by the size of his SHIELD team is proof that not everybody army builds, at least not to this extent.
Exactly. Because they aren't available as cost effect singles, army builder two packs or army builder box sets.
How's everybody's Frost Giant and Hydra Soldier armies?
Mine are fine, thanks for asking. I would seriously build a SHIELD team if SHIELD agents were sold as singles.

Does Doc Samson count as a civilian?
No, lol. I'd still love a Doc Samson Minimate, though.

I haven't gotten this wave yet, but I got my Maria Hills from Luke (preordered when he first threw them up all those months ago)
Ew.

I guess you'r sobbing about Hammer because he was fairly difficult to get hold of ....as was Selvig .....as was Dead Six from the BSG Razor dump.
I'm asking a question rather than answering one ......would these characters have been so popular if they hadn't have been so rare ? I have to show my hand & say that I think Dead Six was a masterpiece but I'm not so sure about Selvig & Hammer . I can name you a whole bunch of civilian 'mates that struggled to get off the pegs.......Thunderbolt Ross (Hulk movie) being the most outstanding example that comes to mind ,a variant set that nobody wanted (at least it was at the time),is he a 'civilian'.... perhaps not but then what defines a civilian minimate?
I like civilian 'mates......they of course have a niche in our niche collections but I remember '24' minimates only too well to give an opinion other than wish for a few more civilians .......but don't wish too hard.
Oddly enough Rick Jones would be my most wanted .....earliest Avenger that hasn't got a Minimate!
I'm partly sobbing over my own stupidity. I had plenty of chances to get Hammer early on (I could have bought him from Luke's store, but decided against it at the time; I hadn't seen the movie yet, so to me he was just a generic man with glasses). Now I'm hard-pressed to find any place that sells him. Even when I do find him for sale, it's for a steep price. Ah well, live and learn.

When done right, civilian characters can add a nice bit of variety to the collection, case in point: Alicia Masters. DST took the time to make the Thing bust for that release, turning a rather ordinary civilian character into a very cool Minimate. Willie Lumpkin and Jarvis both have that potential as well, some unique pieces (mailbag, serving tray) that would really make them stand out. Aunt May could have been in that same category, if we had just gotten those damn wheatcakes!
Karen Page could come with some...ahem...*unique*...err...accessories as well.
Totally agree. Justin Hammer and Happy Hogan came with some badass accessories as well
*sob* Please don't mention Justin Hammer.

I would like Purifier Army builders.
Or Stepford sisters, lol.
Either way, Uncanny Now (if I say it enough, maybe it will come true)
or some random X-men mates (Can include Sunfire and Banshee) and some random costumes or redos of existing mates to anchor it (Weapon X Wolverine, perhaps? Marvel Girl Jean? Quitely's Emma? Dark Phoenix? Modern Rogue? list goes on)
If we are getting any redo's, I would love to see a redo of "Days of Future Past" Wolverine.

Hey, as long as we get new X-Men villains, I'll be happy.
-
As mentioned above, a Stan Lee minimate would be great.
And since Spiderman met him does Obama count?
Sure. Obama could come with an updated Chameleon.

I think he's saying that HP didn't list them as a corner of MU, not that they're neglected. Guys please don't quote super long stuff when you the post after, it is annoying scrolling through something again and again.
Ah, my mistake.

TRU generally doesn't restock unless you're broke. So wait until you're broke, then visit your local TRU. They should have everything you need.

Hey where is the Fantastic Four in your list
The FF have been getting a lot of love lately. We have a sizable number of FF characters. In addition to the FF themselves, we have Dr. Doom, Puppet Master, Blaastar, Annihilus, Terrax, Mole Man, Moloids, Alicia Masters, Molecule Man, Sandman, etc.
Don't get me wrong, I love the FF, and I would welcome more characters, but the FF are not nearly as neglected as, say, Daredevil (IMO).

Edwin Jarvis
Joseph "Robbie" Robertson
Betty Brant
Uncle Ben
Mary Jane (needs an update)
Gwen Stacy (needs an update)
Harry Osborn
Flash Thompson
Sha Shan
Frederick Foswell
Rick Jones

DST should release a "Luke Through The Ages" boxset, with Luke as Captain America, Luke as Thor, Luke as Iron Man, and Luke as Wolverine.
-
O.o
When did this happen?

Question: Did Cyborg Spider-Man ever appear in the comics? I remember Toy Biz made a figure of him in the mid-late 1990s (I still have mine, somewhere).

Moral of the story: TRU sucks.
