We won't be carrying it initially, because the bulk discount from AFX isn't a good enough discount to justify our store expenses. We would have to mark it up a few bucks higher than AFX, and I don't think it would sell very well then. I am just doing this initially at cost to help out everyone here at MMV.

However, these exclusives tend to make their way into Previews after two or three months, and then we will definitely be ordering them and carrying them in the store.

If anyone is interested in getting BOTH sets and would like to save a few bucks I am willing to order a larger quantity from AFX and ship them to you. I will place the order next Wednesday, November 25th, so let me know via PM before then.

I keep my bedroom door shut at all times to keep my cats out, and position my Minimates as close to the center of the shelf I keep them on, to minimize chances of them falling off.

I haven't gotten a copy of it (yet), partly because I've been spending it on *ahem* other things (a no-prize to whoever can guess what they are! ), but my brother bought it earlier this week and said it's fantastic. I'll be going to my mom's Friday night, so I'll get a chance to try it then. Does anyone here have it, or has anyone played it? If so, is it any good? What are the pros/cons, and is it as good as New Super Mario Bros. for the DS is?

Have you seen Punisher: War Zone? I'd like a 'mate of the character 'Maginty' (not sure if I spelled that right). Seems like a funny character to wish for, I know, but he always cracks me up.

Really? Well let me tell you precious little about them:

Adam Warlock is an artificially created being who started out as a weapon against the FF. Besides varying degrees of strength and energy powers, Warlock's main abilities seem to be to go into a healing cocoon when badly beaten, and to fail on a cosmic scale. He became the Saviour of the first counter Earth, only to see it eventually destroyed anyway. He had to time travel to kill himself once to keep from enslaving the universe. He got better. Then worse. You get the idea. Adam was in possession of the soul gem for years.

Mephisto wants you to think he's "the Devil". He's not, but he's close enough for most folks.

Drax the Destroyer is a cosmic golem, charged with vast power, animated by the mind of a dead human, and created by Kronos (godlike Eternal) to destroy Kronos' mad nephew Thanos. Drax's soul belongs to Moondragon's father, who Thanos abducted and dissected to learn about humans. (He was unimpressed)

Thanos is probably the single most dangerous being in the 616. He is a mutant Titan Eternal, who has further augmented himself through mystic and technological means. Thanos once fought Thor and Thing together and won. And he's had a power increase since then. Thanos is a devout worshiper of Death, determined to wins his "Dark Lady's" love. To that end, in the story the set is honoring Thanos once assembled six gems, each one that granted infinite control of one aspect of creation, and used them to literally control the universe. His first act was to cut universal population in half. It has 6 issues to get worse from there. Yet Thanos' flaw is that he is smart enough to know that no one being should have the kind of power he obtains, so he subconsciously subverts himself. Thanos has also acted on the side of heroes to defend the universe from other threat, when it's suited him. He's a wonderfully complex character and well worth your time to get to know as a reader. (Yes I am an unapologetic Thanos fan)

If there was a university that offered "Marvel History 101," they would have to hire you to teach it.

i think the releases from 33 onwards are the ones that will be spaced out. There was a bigger than usual gap between the announcement of 33 & the announcement of 34.

Agreed. Although, the villain would be cool to have, too. Him, Baron Zemo, and Melter, and with Radioactive Man already available, we'd have the original Masters of Evil.

nope I am not doing this, getting all jazzed up over what could be...only to have my dreams of Kang or Black Knight...dashed by some spiderman variant, only TTF or TM2 gives a holy hell about! No!!! I am going to focus on what is coming out.... Hydra...and Captain Marvel, and uhhh Captain Marvel...and Captain Britian, and Yellow Jacket... no more pipe dreams, no more false hope!

But I hope TTF is right and we get some more Fantastic Four characters. Preferably new villains like Ronan, Blastaar, Annihilus and Puppet Master...
