I apologize in advance if this has been asked already, but does the Aliens Minimate license cover vehicles, too, or just characters?
-
Great Scott!

Great stuff! Who's the guy with Crossbones in the last photo?
-
I don't know about Australia, but in the U.S. there's a company called Public Storage that is reasonably priced - the rent for the first month is only a dollar.
-
I don't have a Wii U either. By the way, some of the levels on YouTube are just downright EVIL. I mean, I like a challenge as much as the next guy, but some of these are just sadistic.
-
Has anyone had a chance to play this yet? I haven't tried it yet, but after watching a bunch of YouTube videos of levels that people have made, I'm super stoked to try it. This game looks like a ton of fun.

I can't speak for anyone else, but I've never kept the packaging for any of my Minimates. I always open them and discard the packages, because they already take up a lot of space as it is. If money isn't an issue, have you considered renting a storage unit? That would be the perfect place to safely store some of your packages.
Does your partner have anything that needs to be stored? If so, perhaps you two can share a storage unit and split the cost 50/50.

Justice League Big Bang Theory?
Pulp Fiction Gold Watch? (Boxer Butch, Fabien, Captain Koons, Esmerelda)
Alien 4-Pack? (Escape Ripley, Space suit Kane, Space suit Lambert, Space Suit Dallas)
Aliens 4-Pack? (Burke in suit, Van Leuwen, Ripley pre-haircut, Gorman in military uniform)
Just some ideas
If it's an Alien 4-pack, I'd rather see Ash, Dallas, Brett, and Lambert. Your idea, while cool, still leaves out two characters.
If it's an Aliens 4-pack, hopefully it includes (non-battle damaged) Bishop, Gorman, Ferro, and Van Leuwen. That way, we'll have everybody.
I chose to do space suit variants because Zach said that they already have plans for the normal versions of the characters. Same reasoning for the Aliens set.
Ah, gotcha.
A cool accessory for business suit Burke would be his business card. If we do get more variants of existing variants, one that I'd like to see is "clean" Newt (from the scene at the end of Aliens, before they all go into stasis).

Friggin' awesome!

Man, after seeing those pics...I really hope we get a set of the colored 80's turtles with colored pads.
I don't. The 1987 TMNT cartoon is my favorite cartoon of all time. If we get 1987 TMNT Minimates...well, there goes all my money.
-
Is that the Raphael from the (colored) Mirage box set? Awesome, btw.

Does anyone know a confirmed release date for the new wave with Newt, Crowe and Frost? I got all excited to head over to my LCS when I saw they were listed as September 9 on Luke's. But they still show up there as a pre-order. Other online vendors have anywhere from a generic September up to December listed for availability. Nothing on DST's Facebook or official sites that I could see gave a firm date. And I really couldn't find a confirmed date hunting around this thread and on the google either.
For that matter, is there a reliable site that lists confirmed release dates for all upcoming Minimates? I haven't really been able to find that info in one set location.
The expected release date was September 9, but I asked Luke yesterday and he said the store hasn't received them yet. Hopefully soon, though!
-
I for one am glad that DST is showing some love for some lesser known characters. A lot of toy companies would ignore those characters entirely. Come to think of it, I don't recall any other other toy company ever making a Howard figure.
-
Even more awesomeness. I'm sure Luke in particular will dig your Fantasticar.

If Howard was so popular, why does his movie rank 38 out of 39 Marvel films? (Sure, he tops Punisher: War Zone but, geez Louise, that's not saying much.)
I'm with CortherX. I don't care how they're categorized. Popularity changes anyway. I'm just happy to have a Howard on the way.
I actually enjoyed Punisher: War Zone.

Congratulations are in order. Well done.

All right, thanks.

I read somewhere that NECA's figures are fragile and break easily. Is this true? I really want to collect their Aliens figures, open them up, and display them, but if they're too breakable, I'll just keep them in the package.
-
I still need to finish Daredevil.
-
I'll be honest, I thought Hellcat and Tigra were the same person.
I used to, too.

I think youbastards meant it would be weird to update an old costume Spider-Woman is no longer wearing just to pop a Skrull head on it. and if we get a new Spider-Woman, I'd really like to see her new costume.
oooooooh but wait!
didn't Mockingbird come back in Secret Wars?? I'd actually prefer her over an update Wasp, tho both would be great. Mockingbird is in her old costume when they all come out of the little spaceship, so maybe we'd get Classic and Modern versions
If they're going to do Mockingbird, I'd rather them release her as part of a WCA wave (or box set). I don't collect Marvel figures anymore, but if we got the entire original roster of the WCA (Hawkeye, Mockingbird, Wonder Man, Jim Rhodes as Iron Man, and Tigra), I'd buy them in a heartbeat.

I would definitely buy a Wii U just for this game, if my brother didn't already have one.
