Looks gold to me...

I ahve an extremis iron man statue and its yellow and red.

I was walking along in my toys r us when I spotted the new line of minimates. They were ones I had been waiting for. But then as i looked at them i noticed something unusual...The extremis ironman has gold where plain yellow should be. This makes him look more like the movie ironman than the comic book extremis. I was wondering if this will stay the same for the wave release of him. All the pics of the ironman show him with yellow. Why do you think they changed it to gold?

I think instead I'll make the beast from the xmen "darktide" movie. He looks pretty awesome in that movie and I am sad he wasnt released.

Cant wait for this. Mephisto to torment my various ghost rider mates, and Thanos to get some heart wrenching revenge on drax. BOOYAH

I don't think we're getting another Jean in this wave. My guess right now for the final Minimate is the brown-suited Wolverine. Poor 90's Jean Grey will have to come in some other wave, or some other set, someday.

I'm worried too. That marvel universe jean looks funky. We need a regular Jean that fits in with the figures around it. And as far as what this wave represents, its clear by now that its not a straight Jim Lee wave. This wave is based off the animated show from the early 90's, thats how its able to have hellfire gaurds and jim lee costumes, since all of that stuff happened at the same time on the show and didnt have that 20 year gap. And because of this wave being based on the show, that is why I think we are getting mr sinister and Jean as the last two. With brown wolverine and jubilee at TRU, since jubilee was wolvies sidekick for a number of years.

Did anybody but me watch every episode of that show?

Its a classic. Xmen kick major but!

Maybe JL Cyclops is the variant. That would piss a few people off too.

They're pretty much in a corner here, in that whatever they announce to finish this series off is going to piss some people off. If they say JL Jean is the variant, then TTF burns down the DST offices. If they don't announce JL Jean at all, then TTF burns down the DST offices. If they say Wolverine is in the series, then those suffering from the over-saturated Wolverine market will burn down the DST offices. If they announce Jubilee, then I burn down the DST offices, because there was some remnants of Ady's hat, it just took them a few days to work their way through his digestive system.

I think we should all have some faith that even if the characters we want aren't in this wave, that they will make it into the TRU waves or in a new wave.

I think we're getting upset over nothing.

I put down on the wish list thread to have a jim lee style xmen wave. I guess my wish came true. This is however a new thing to me. I just discovered they are making this wave so it makes it even more sweet.

I still think beasts hair should be from the weapon x wolverine minimate.

It looks way better IMHO. But all in all I cant wait for this wave. I haven't been this excited since they released pictures of wave 32 with extremis iron man and cable. Finally! My wish came true!

I would like to see a Jim Lee stlye boxset with cyclops, jean grey, beast, professor exavior, and jubilee

With the new release of wolverine through out the ages box set, I got the idea to make a custom Jim Lee Beast from Xmen. Also known as the xmen animated series beast. I am planning to take the hair from the wepon x figure from the wolverine pack and make beast. Do you think this is a good idea? I think the hair fits perfectly. Give me your opinions an advice. I am a fairly new customiser who needs some tips. Thanks
