Can't say I'm super excited for this one, because hey, who needs more Spider-Men (I just did a count and I have 18, so I think maybe that's enough) but what does excite me here is it gives way to the possibilty of more Ultimate Mates, and that does make me happy. So we'll see where we go from here.

Geohound nice entry, how did you make the background? did you airbrush out the figures from the cover or make that entirely from scratch?

I painted the web stuff in the back in Photoshop. All the other things I did in Illustrator, laid all that out and printed it on a piece of cardstock and then took the picture with the mates in front of that. So basically it's all made from mostly nothing.

I'm not entirely happy as the lighting seems to have really washed the vibrancy out of my background, but I like it overall.

A friend of mine found them for me at the Disney Store in the Mall of America last week. He said they had a whole load of the things. Apparently, according to the cashier, he was the first one to buy them and they had already had them for 3 days. I guess they're not a big hit? Oh well, looking forward to having mine.

Really wishing I got done before Ivan posted that, because that is absolutely awesome.

Hooray! The power cord for my compuetr fell apart this morning and a new won't get here until around the 7th. That gives me 3 days.

WEll, Toys R Us just sent me an email saying my minimates have shipped, so I am happy to hear I didn't get cancelled on, but at the same time it kind of surprises me the GG pack isn't selling better just for sake of the gliders, If I could have rationalized the expense, I would have bought 4 just for the gliders.

Got mine. Woke up and checked the site, you know, just in case and there they were. I was happy. Had to get 2 of the Fantomex pack though because a friend of mine is a huge X-Force fan so I thought I'd do something nice. He has all the other X-Force people save for the first X-Force Wolverine.

Bio:

Born on a world in which mighty marvels do battle with capcom competitors, Sergeant X joined a man named Dante and the Merc With a Mouth Deadpool to defeat Galactus. It was something of a duplicitous alliance though, for as soon as the battle was won, X snuck into Deadpool's home and stole his X-Men uniform. Disgused as a member of one of the most well-known superhero teams in history, X went forward to rid the world of evil once and for all.

This lasted 13 days. He then got bored and quit.

Now X sits at home, hanging out with friends and playing video games. His future is uncertain and with no real goals, he my drift in mediocrity forever.
