  1. Figured I would keep using this thread instead of staring a new one. I recently moved and was setting up my minimates again. As I did this I would give the joints on each minimate a move around and when I moved the arm of Jane Foster the peg broke. It didn't come completely off so the arm is still hanging on there but I am not sure what to do to fix it at this point and still maintain the moveability of that arm. Suggestions?

I bought a Jane Foster not too long ago and the exact same thing happened. Right out of the box and the arm peg cracked right off, peg still in the shoulder socket. I tried to move it when it broke off and the peg was still locked tightly in place in the shoulder socket of the arm. My main worry with gluing it back on is if I tried to move it again, it would just break off and I'd be screwed. Alas, I had no other options, so I glued her arm peg back on, still attached to the arm because I couldn't remove it, and left it overnight. The next morning I checked to make sure the bond was holding well with just slight fidgeting, not really putting pressure on it one way or the other and then stuck it in the freezer for about half an hour. Took it out and with some slow, minor motions got it loose and now it's good as new. So all I have to say is that Jane Foster seems to be able to take quite a bit of punishment and keep on going.

    Hope that helps.

  2. If you look in your rebuilding the Batcave thread, somewhere towards the earlier parts of it, I did post the measurements of the bigger Batmobile. I don't have the smaller one, but the big one's there. Can't take pictures though, my computer is shot and I am sad. Any other help though, I'll do what I can.

  3. Please oh please oh please oh please let it be...

The amount of joy this would bring me would be endless. Let's all consider the sheer awesomeness a Donkey Kong Minimate would bring on the world.

Kirby and the like would be nigh impossible to execute well, I think, but there's plenty of characters here that would be exceptional.

    I want Falco.

  4. We were late to the party on MvC3, and by the time UvMC3 Mates came out we'd be late to the party again, so we may skip UMvC3 and go right to something else. That plan may change, though.

In terms of getting to the party with the MvC franchise, there is no such thing as "late" The time between MvC2 and MvC3 was, well, a while but people loved it the entire time. A lot of people. And we love minimates, so just go after it, I say. It'll keep.

  5. I have no issues with anything. I was a bit concerned when I first heard there were hidden challenges, but they weren't all that hard to find. The length of it was actually great for me as it gave me stuff to do, but if it's going to keep being so long, I'd actually like to see more challenges because if I would get a month's challenges all done the first week, then I'd spend the rest of the month waiting, so I don't know how that could be fixed or whatever. Maybe do a few challenges each week instead of all the beginning of the month. That said, if it goes back to being just a couple months instead of as many as it was this year, I'd still like for there to be around 35-40 challenges, but I can see how it might be an issue for other people. I myself, don't have much of a life, so I have the free time to do these things over the course of 4 months, but I can see how some people would rather just get it all done in the span of a weekend or something.

Anyways, as long as there's a hunt, I will participate. No matter what the stipulations are. I just find it fun.

  6. And there it is. The end of a months long endeavor of pretending to be clever with little amazing figures.

Thank you so much To Lurch and the judges and the whole MMMV for this thing and for just existing.

Some days I feel that the insanity of this place is the only thing keeping me sane.

And a heart-felt thank you to my fellow competitors, without whom I would have won outright and had no fun at all.

With all sappy crap being said; Blacksun. Darkredshadow. LET'S FIGHT!

  7. Hey! Congrats Blacksun! Glad you could get more done.

Though I would be remiss if I didn't admit a part of me was hoping you wouldn't make it so I'd have a better shot at winning this.

But I'm overall happy for you. Some really good stuff too.

  8. Ha! I could not stop laughing at Mecha Thor's list to win the Hunt.

Although, I'm his primary target it seems, so maybe I should be hiding?

And the dance off is awesome. Mr. Parker looks really ticked. He got served.

    Great job darkredshadow.

  9. Oh happy new year to us all.

I wonder if Galactus is just going to spend the year thinking about eating us and finally decide to do it next december 21st.

The Mayans predicted the Devourer of Worlds.

I have been looking forward to Galactus Week for a while. This should be fun. Nicely done, Myte.

  10. Thank you for naming the extra challenge that.

Also, if you do make a total random surprise bag thing for whoever wins it, you shouldn't tell anyone what it is. Whoever wins it should have to post pictures of whatever awesome ridiculousness is in it.

  11. Just read it and it's rather good. There's some grammatical issues and some of the dialogue is worded a bit weird to me, but you can't create, write, build sets, take photos, do the effects and edit everything alone and not expect a couple issues. as a whole, it's very awesome. I would like very much to see this continue for many issues to come.

    Nice work, Luke.
