Still nothing here, I had them check the computer and they just came into the warehouse for this region, but were not on the truck for this week. Hopefully next week. I remember earlier this year one of the Ironman movie waves of mates were in the warehouse for a month before they started to ship out.

Like it has been said, it comes down to exclusives and if you plan on playing online with friends.

I ordered the johnson/spartan, active camo/marine sets in mid November. Mine arrived on xmas eve.

I would love some covenant vehicles ASAP, but I can see them milking the warthog mold to death. Hopefully they'll take a break after the arctic one and introduce some other stuff before doing variations on the hog.

Great review. I wasn't expecting to be blown away by this box set, but I really enjoyed it. I even liked the bright blue on the spider-man to make him stand out a little more. But the Thor and Cap were perfection.

I went to my local TRU to see if I could maybe find out anything about them getting any in and they mentioned they noticed they had Marvel Minimates on order in the computer, but that they had received these ones previously in September, which I mentioned must have been the Fantastic Four wave...

Nothing to come this week otherwise, but maybe the next week or one after... *sigh*

I wish every wave would somehow end up on the TRU website and make the whole going to the TRU store thing no longer needed.

yeah these are the same SKU as the fantastic four wave. It looks like they are smartening up finally and going to different SKU's for different waves like the other minimate lines, since wave 10 has its own SKU in their system.

Too many Darkstalkers characters and not enough street fighter characters. Darkstalkers don't sell well enough. The SOTA Darkstalkers line couldn't even get enough orders to produce the first wave.

I was going to say this too. I have no clue who the Darkstalkers characters were. But I grew up playing Street Fighter 2 in the arcade and on my SNES and would have loved to get more of them.

Yeah the TRU by me still has some of the MC/Arbiter and Reach packs, but maybe 6 or 7 packs from the 24 total that came in. Sold out of warthogs too.

Looks like these will not be an xmas surprise. The truck for tonight at my closest TRU didn't have these on the manifest.

I hate to say this but despite the chaos, I would really have liked this wave to appear in more stores before Christmas just so the non-shortpacks would move. You know, the Spidey and Wolverine are very recognizable reason. Last year, the pegwarmers seemed to be moving, but this year, the FF and IM2 stuff don't seem to be...

Yeah, the one time king of the pegwarmers from earlier this year is selling through really well. I saw a lady buying the Thor/Lady Loki pack, but the glut of Fantastic Four are still there.

These just showed up at my TRU today. I was disappointed that Johnson didn't come with the shotgun. Hopefully we'll start to see more weapons soon. Everyone packing the basic assault rifle is looking a bit boring.

I found that the Leoben / Starbuck 2-pack shows up in the system for $2.48, while the remaining BSG packs are still $4.98.

It was this price at 2 different TRUs in central NJ.

So is this a Christmas miracle or massacre that these are out now? The parking lots have been pretty full this past week and I keep having to dodge shopping carts in the aisles. It'll all be worth it if I just snag that Magneto...

And the weekend before Christmas is not a fun time to visit any store.

Hey SouthFLGuy, I skimmed this thread and it didn't pop up to me, but doesn't this wave have a different SKU? Remember what it was?

I think I may take advantage of the early morning opening hours to call ahead from my bed and decide then if I want to wake up early.

I don't think the new SKU starts until wave 10. Last time I went in and had someone check the SKU from the fantastic four wave was showing more on order so these are probably them.

So the hunt is on, eh? Good thing TRU is now open from 6 a.m. to midnight. Makes it much easier to go on the hunt...

And shiny Magneto is shiny.

Next week my TRU is open starting Tuesday the 21st at 6am until 10pm Xmas eve nonstop.

I don't know if it was mentioned, but this wave is the start of what I hope is a trend. It has a unique SKU number in the TRU system as Marvel Minimates wave 10. The next wave (with magik/warlock) is the same sku as the fantastic four wave.

The warehouse for my region was pretty much wiped out on the first shipments. Compared to other lines of minimates, these were ordered pretty lightly.

Dang, can't wait for this wave.
