  1. Quick question: Where does everyone get their Kubricks? I am most interested in the Star Wars ones. Has anyone dealt with Brian's Toys? Basically, I am looking a reliable company thats not out to gouge the consumer (aren't we all?). Thanks for any help!

P.S. That Batman display is awesome!

  2. I wrote TRU an e-mail asking regarding how they apply their shipping charges; they generally apply the whole S&H charges on the first shipment of your order (because they never ship the whole thing in one shipment it seems); on the remaining shipments in your order you will only pay for the item(s) and applicable tax.

  3. Serge: That sucks and I am sorry. Karamazov gave me the heads up some weeks ago about Toyrocket. My credit card company was really helpful and immediately refunded me. If you did not pay by credit card, Toy Rocket has someone answering the phones now. I know this because weeks after cancelling (with them first and then with the credit card company) and sending numerous e-mails (and trying to call them to no avail) they send me an e-mail that they are shipping my product. I call them and get a live person and he tells me to just refuse the package which I did. I explained my problems with his company and he said they had computer problems and had not rec'd any of my e-mails and he did not know that the order had been cancelled and refunded. So my great USPS mailman sends the package back to sender. Then I get an e-mail from Toyrocket saying why did you send the package back. I e-mail to no response. I call again and get a live person who is processing "all the refunds"; I explain and he says OK sorry. So I would try calling them Monday; they seemed like they were trying but their company is a mess. Also, I know they are trying to fill orders. Good luck with getting your set or getting a refund.

  4. Having owned both PCs and a single Mac (currently), I really appreciate the MAC; easy to use and very reliable (knock on wood).

I bought the Ghost; it was alright but I would not buy any of the other sets. The design was rather simple and the set was a bit over-priced. Also, the scale of the figures is quite small.

  5. I recently ordered some minimates from ToyRocket and they say the order is processing for the last week and a half on a supposedly in-stock order. I have sent them a few e-mails requesting info on why the order has not shipped (my credit card was charged) and rec'd not a single response. Has anyone dealt with ToyRocket? Are they reputable? Is this an isolated occasion? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
