I also heartily recommend this movie.
My 4 and a 1/2 year old son, my wife and I all loved it!!! Great movie.
***** [5 stars]
I am now reading the book to my son and he is really enjoying it (as am I).

I'll keep my eyes open but I have not seen any of these in Washington yet.
By the way, I got my Chemo torso/head piece yesterday with the extra bubbles and it looks AWESOME! THanks everyone for the help!

Here's wishing everyone a Happy New Year!
-
I'm sorry; that is a bad turn anytime of the year and especially at the holidays. Thoughts and prayers to your Dad for a full recovery.

I finally broke down and picked up a Chemo upper torso on e-bay. Thanks for the help in trying to locate one for me by various board members!

My wife and I got a Spidermonkey LEGO set for our 4 year old and he loves it. Fun construction (like a bionicle) and easy to play with; really, a pretty fun action figure! Now we will probably get some other sets and combine them. Great title for LEGO but these are not by any means classic block legos; they are manufactured set pieces that are re-used by each character with some individual pieces per figure (head/face, wings, some of the hands/feet).

Congrats! Loved the pictures (great choice of book!)!

I thought Jude Law was excellent in Gattaca but I cannot think of another movie where I felt the same.
The computer effects shown on the trailers for Sherlock Holmes don't look good to me.

XMAS!
Thats awesome and funny!

I hope everyone has a wonderful Holiday season!

I just saw the 2d version of Avatar and it was SPECTACULAR! My wife and I loved it! Highly recommended!

I think these vehicles might appeal to kids. I know the mini-flyers have been selling at my TRU. The deformed style seems to be the trend right now.

jboogie,
thanks for the comparison Iceman pictures; they are very helpful!
-
If anyone has the time, I would really be thankful if they could post pictures of the two different icemans? Thanks!

Tough decision; lots of possibilities but I think my personal fave is .... The Man in Black from the For a Few Dollars More boxset...just an awesome mate!
-
I just got back from TRU; it was crazy but the staff was great and very helpful. Unfortunately, no new minimates here either.

I wish everybody an awesome Thanksgiving! In my opinion, one of the greatest holidays as it is centered around family & friends, food and football! I hope everyone has a great one.

Wow! They look great; I really like the Solomon Grundy!
-
I'm re-reading my collection of Steven Brust novels; he is a brilliant author and great story-teller in my humble opinion.

Luke,
I love the diorama idea; it looks great. Do you know what the weight of one of these would be approximately? Thanks.
-

-
Will Luke be able to sell these or will we have to go thru AFX?
