With as much exposure as the Squadron Supreme has been getting in the books and most definitely on Avengers Assemble, I'd love to see a whole wave dedicated to them, either at specialty, or walgreens (with the animated stuff). I've also been breezing thru the Squadron Sinister book (and will pick up the trade) and I love what I'm seeing there, especially with Hyperion in a domino mask.

For me personally, this would feed my craving for DC a bit, with this basically being a bad version of the justice league, with awesome costumes! i need more capes and masks and costumes like they wear.

I have love for anything Squadron and think minimates would be great. I am even planning on buying the Hasbro Hyperion (Current Hyperion/Supreme Power) comic two pack when/if its released.

It's funny that DST will include a magneto helmet for red onslaught as well as have red skulls body underneath so you have to option for 3 different incarnations

While hasbro won't even include the magneto helmet to get a long asked for character

Especially when they did two heads for Odin and old Thor.

The Ghostbusters Dana hair/head works pretty good on the Alien Ripley as a QC.I think it looks a bit better than the short hair.

i could see Star Trek versions being released as they have done this in POP Vinyl, 3.75" figures, and the Mego style figures. They also recently released a Stewart 3.75" figure.

DST will probably ride the hype train and put out more of the same characters. I'm curious what DST thought of DoFP mates now that it's been a while. Did we ever hear anything about how they did?

I think there is a 50/50 logic with the Xmen movie mates:

Pros - movies have done well and DST may have the only toy product out for the Xmen movie (like DOFP)

Cons - Marvel very not supportive of the film, Fox can dictate what was released (Rogue in DOFP), heavy character repetition could equal poor sales

It is really crazy how good deadpool and how sketchy this looks, I was super positive for this until I saw Apocalypse. I was willing to overlook the continuity issues and everything...

My biggest regret is, last year, a friend asked if I wanted any exclusives that he would pick up for me. I was like "nah, there's nothing I really want that much." A few weeks later, my favorite movie ever came out. And now Rocket's Warbird & The Collector go for about $400 together. It would've cost me $35 had I told him to get them for me.

look for the bootleg versions, they are almost just as good, for a fraction of the price.

Bootlegs are a good call as over $10 for a lego minifigure is nuts. i also think they hold a lottery drawing for the ability to purchase the lego SDCC exclusives.

The only sdcc exclusives I have ever had trouble with was hasbro

So it looks like Barnes and Noble is doing the SDCC exclusives event thing they did last year. My guess is it will be mostly Funko stuff, but the ad did show Diamond as a participant....perhaps the Gotham 2pk will be at B&N?

Has it been stated where the Gotham two pack is going to be sold? Tru just released their list of exclusives and it was not in there as I had guessed it would be.

I may be wrong, i thought minimates get around likeness rights partially because they have no nose.

I don't know why, but I do think both ghostbuster minimates have a better likeness than the alien or aliens ripley mates.
