I did the same. I'd rather give my LCS good business; he is always great to me, and even knows to hold any Minimates he gets in, including extras, and even things like DCD's Blackest Night figs. Still in the shipping box. He's a great guy and he's earned my money, so that's where those others are coming from.

i think they got a few solo Gleeks shortly after SDCC and gave them away in some form or another.

what about 1602? is that TOO odd ball? I mean, ultimate is close enough to Amazing visually to be rejected, but Noir, 2099 & 1602 would be a hoot. Other versions could be Earth X, Marvel Zombies.

EDIT: on the game's community page if we pre-order the game we get 4 different cosmic spideys for each universe. interesting to see how the cosmic noir would look.

i called up mine and had a quizzed guy put me on hold and come back with a listing for the MS figs & the minimates. I asked to be pre-ordered for a set of the mates although the others grabbed my attention.

yes and no for me. I dont care for too many of the older pieces but I am pre-ordering or hunting for all of the current releases.

TRU Canada does not order from DST, they order from Diamond Comics. Thus there is no way of getting exclusive waves. Hopefully one day it will be different, but not any day soon though.

Luke, thats funny that you got the last three cases, I asked my comic guy to get another case and he said they were sold out on the diamond order website.

He is selling me the entire case so its not so bad on my behalf.

So I get to the comic shop today and they're like, "Hey, got a box of Minimates for ya!" And I'm all like, "Really? That's unexpected." They hand it to me, I look in, and it's Series 31 & 32. So I say, "Um, I have these," and they're like, "Are you sure?" And I say, "Yeah, pretty sure because I was jazzed to get these Angel Minimates." Then they said someone else came in earlier and also told them they'd already gotten them in a month or so ago.

Needless to say I'm a tad envious looking at these wicked pics but now I'm concerned that the shop ordered 31 & 32 instead of 33 & 34 and I may be shit out of luck.

That is so wierd. I called my comic shop and they too told me that they get series 31 & 32 today and they were not too sure on why. I told them to put all of the army builders aside for me regardless.
