50 characters is a lot. BUT if you count the specialty and TRU assortments as one shared wave, we'll have 36 characters by the end of wave 3. I can't imagine we'll do less than that. And I'm not a huge Tekken fan, but this wave still has some A-listers in it. King? Nina? The fact that I know who they are tells me they're pretty famous. Combined with the SF characters, most of whom are A-list, it's a strong assortment. Wave 2 will have plenty of big Tekken dudes, but also some big SF names.

I'm pretty pumped after hearing that. Looking forward to finally getting more Street Fighter mates and some of the Tekken characters too! The only classic SF mate missing from the game's roster is E. Honda.

I noticed that the clear circular stands that come with this wave are smaller. I was just starting to get a good collection of the others going to!

Ok, mine must be messed up then. The back left side is okish (still a little gap) but there's a weird angle and the gap increases to very noticeable the further you go to the back right side.

Do they still do replacement parts? I'm not sure if it's the head or mask that is the problem.

If DST is unable to help you out, I can send you a replacement mask when I get my hands on TrU 13.

So I bought the Daredevil/Sin-Eater set from this wave...and Daredevil's mask is messed up. It only covers like 3/4 if his head in the back. Is everyone else's like that or just mine?

The think the top 3 ideas so far are:

1. Punisher

2. Carnage

3. Spider-Man

Spider-Man or Punisher would probably sell the best. I want more Cables but not 4 of them (2 would be enough). I think we already have enough Rogues, Storms, Angels, etc. I'll even through another idea out there:

Invisible Woman

1. Blue and white outfit with short hair

2. 90's costume which showed waaaay more skin

3. A good figure of her while she's invisible

4. Malice

You guys can just wait till these hit retail and try and find them that way you know.

No, I can't. I'm still waiting to find the Magik, Fantomex, and Crossbones waves at my local Toys R Us stores. My local one plus two others (60 and 90 minutes away) never received anything from those waves. So TRU.com or other collectors are my only hope. TRU.com isn't much of a help. It's actually very frustrating with the whole in stock, out, in, out. Thankfully other collectors helped me out with those waves. I'm now paying it forward. I found 3 sets of Taskmaster and Sentinel at a local comic shop so I'm helping out some others.

Does anybody still need the Sentinels or Taskmaster sets? My comic shop has 3 of each set for $8.99. I'm going to pick up one Taskmaster set so that will leave 3 Sentinels and 2 Taskmasters. I'll hook you guys up with cost + shipping if you need them.

I've been a huge X-men fan since the late 90's but this is the first I'm hearing of the Outback X-Men. I like all these Mates though so I'll be picking up the entire wave.

Agreed. Not really looking forward to the movie but I will be picking up most of the movie mates since they look good.

So really, we are of 2 camps.

1: "SM3 sucked. Thank goodness for a reboot!"

2: "This new movie looks awful, and is an unnecessary reboot. SM3 wasn't that bad."

I was just able to pick up the swordsman alone on ebay for 8.00 shipping was free. Yay!

I'm glad I didn't bid on it then. I was going to pick it up just for the gloves for a custom but I figured I'd give someone else who needed one a shot at it.

Agreed. You'd think they could at least alternate with the areas that have the webbing left off so we can combine the parts of all these extras Spideys we get and make one perfect one.

Is anyone still able to find these at their local TRUs? The two near me STILL haven't received any figures from this wave.

While we're at it...what about Time Killers?! I think that one came about before Mortal Kombat and was one of the more violent games for that time.

I'm pumped for the possibility of finally seeing some more Street Fighter characters! I can't wait for: Ken, Guile, Sagat, Dhalsim, Zangief, Vega, & Balrog. I'd love to see an E. Honda and Blanka at some point as well to round out the classic guys.

* Super pumped for bulked-up Colossus and Rhino!

* The Venom stuff looks great!

* Longshot, Dazzler and Alpha Flight!

* The new Pirates look impressive.

* Walking Dead mates look pretty cool.

I'm not as pumped for Expendables, the newest MAX stuff, or Universal Monsters. I might pick up some if they're useful for custom fodder.

What's the clear base that comes with Redfield? Is that like the other MvC bases or is it something new?

I think I'm in a Minimate rut. I've had this wave for awhile now and last night is the first time I actually looked at the packages and noticed there was an error on the back of this wave's packaging. I just find it sad that I'm at a point where I just take stuff out of the package and put it in storage without even looking at it much.

I'll gladly take them off your hands and proudly display them. They aren't in my local TRUs and they're never on TRU.com when I look.

I'd like to see the F4 in their old school blue/white uniforms. I'd also like to see an Invisible Woman that is all invisible (not just the limbs).

And...Crossbones is gone again! I've missed out on Crossbones every time that it's been in stock. It's never in stock when I check and it's long gone whenever I see that someone says it's back.

Thor looks good, although the hair is a little 80's rocker for my taste.

You're right about the look of that Thor. I hate the figure but I'll pick it up for the hairpiece. I have an idea for a custom.

I like the gloves and boots on Iron Man. I never liked the old ones that made him a little too tall.
