I would like to underscore that yes, groundhog7s attended the convention and the meet-up. Truly one of the biggest surprises of the con and I'm thankful I was there for it. Suffice to say, he looks healthy and happy after his long sojourn from the Multiverse.

Also, I meet this Englishman from across the Atlantic, some one I haven't seen in five or so years, and the thing he asks me right off? "Have you heard of these beers made with wheat?"

I haven't seen this answered: to my eye, the turtles are all the same size. Any variations you may think you see are due to camera lens perspective.

I will say that I was expected sculpted heads, but after a long and lustful viewing in the booth, the cylindrical heads work just fine. DST's challenge will be making the other animal characters blend with this aesthetic.

In the C2E2 booth, I discovered that Zach (and Chuck) actually feel some responsibility about this fiasco. In my mind, this is ridiculous -- DST was simply the manufacturing vehicle and carries none of the blame. That the company reps should feel any responsibility towards finding a solution for us is service well above and beyond. Just sayin'.

It's a Trap!

Zach has a huge list of all the posts where folks have said negative things about DSTs products from the forums and after you identify yourself he's going to look you up on his list and ask if you said "Did you really say Riot spideyman didn't need to be made"? then pull out a baseball bat and make you rethink your posting habits.

Cheep Cheep was a little disappointing, what with the zero articulation. But I'm pretty happy to have found the series and dug out the characters I wanted.

Hang in there, Jeff. I just found Series 3 this week, first time in my area. So they're coming out.

Ohhh, I do NOT see this as good news. It troubles my gut for some reason.

When you look at the prototype, you can see the rattle is painted gold, to match some of Cobra's other weapons and armor. The implication being that it's an artificial thing he's added to his arsenal, sort of like brass knuckles for the tail. Clever workaround, DST.

Haven't seen any pictures yet, but as long as the new figures match the old stuff. If this is Call of Duty figures reworked for Halo, they won't quite match up, which will bug the hell out of me.

I can understand going with the Lego Friends figures for the Princesses line. If Lego expands into Disney at large, I could see that license easily slipping into the standard minifig realm.

These are expensive, quite, but you can get no-name players at a lower price on the 'Bay. It's worth having a few simply because it's fun to have Lego figs with knees and elbows!

Definitely on my watch-home-release-version list. The biggest thing it has going for it is the chance to mix all those licenses.

Yeah, the colored versions were on display at NYCC and I foresee more than one set going into my collection.

Wow. Totally wow. They seem to be much the same scale as Halo, with some more detail fit in. Plus those fancy elbows. Gonna have to pick up some.
