Well, a completely fruitless TRU run here in the east Bay Area. Anyone local have any tips? My closest TRU is unlikely to get anything new for weeks since their shelves are clogged up with Wolverine and Hulk Movie Minimates. UGH!
If anyone needs some of those, let me know.
I found all of Wave 5 and Secret Wars at the Pleasant Hill TRU today, which east bay TRU do you go to?

awesome!
Any hints on the next 3?
I don't really want to say, I never know exactly what next custom comes out.Visions come to me when new minimates parts come out.But one I'm working on has been done before.
Thanks brobotc

Have you combined Nightcrawlers feet with Wolverines new boot tops to create the AOA look?
That's awesome!
On closer inspection - the chest-block even has a tampo on it.
Can't wait for the next 3!
Yeah Nightcrawlers feet were milliputted with Wolverines boot top and the chest came from Black Panther.

oh wow!
omigod omigod omigod omigod!
That storm is awesome. & nightcrawler looks so tough!
more excellent work jboogie!
What did you use for Storms sash?
Thanks again Nessex, Storms top was made from Molecule Mans and the sash was from Mephisto.I used my dremel to cut and shape everything.
I'm working on 3 more AOA's but X-Man is not in the works...yet.
Any comments are welcomed, good or bad. Thanks for looking everyone.

the only question left is,who will use scorpions tale for TB Venom......
I already responded to this comment once, but now that I have my Scorpions I just wanted to say:
The tail fits onto TB Venom with no modification needed (aside from needing a coat of paint) no glue, no cutting, it stretches the belt a little and the heads a little easier to knock off on accident but overall it works great.
Do you have a picture of it, did you take off the bulky body to fit it?

Most impressive. Any other AOAs coming down the pipe?
Definitely more AOA customs on the way.
I knew you would like these Nessex, and I will definitely contact you first if I ever decide to sell them.

Don't assume it was all scalpers. A lot of them were probably parents looking for those darn robo-hamsters.
Robo-hamsters?

Nice. Thanks for the pics, jboogie.
The last Radicals e-newsletter hinted at some extra pieces. Was there anything else aside from what you've photographed?
The only extra pieces that I didn't get a picture of were normal extra hands for Thanos.

The detail in your work is just phenomenal, you have jaw dropping customs as usual.

Awesome work buddy. I'm especially impressed with Forge, AOA Weapon X & AOA Colossus!
AOA is my favourite cross-over of all time & i think you've really done Weapon X justice. Kudos.
Do you take commissions?
Thanks for the kind words Nessex,I just recently got into AOA beacause I had a extra Colossus to spare and wanted to do a custom I haven't seen of him yet.I saw a picture of the whole AOA X-Men team and was interested in making them in minimate form. Now I bought all 4 Trade Paperbacks of AOA just to read and for reference pictures.
At the moment I'm not comfortable with making any commissions and selling them.I just hate the pressure of a custom not to somebody's liking. But maybe in the future I would do it when I think my work is good enough.

Thanks for the inspirational comments everyone, definitely more AOA customs in the works.

It was called gloss green by Model Master Acrylic, it's slightly lighter than the original green. But not enough to really notice.
What color green did you paint Chen Lu's boots and crotch?BS

Great customs. I'll be the odd man out. My favorite is the unpowered Pete. Good idea and good execution.
What did you use for Prof X's chair?
You can get Prof X's chair from a Kubricks Prof X.I got inspired from the one Tenime art made.
Classic X-Men and X-Factor boxsets!
