Consider all the boxsets, and the waves that have been announced recently. I think it's awesome that we're getting so many more marvel minimates (alliteration anyone?). And a lot of these are coming out before year's end. With all these minimate lines being cancelled; Street Fighter, 24 and DC(?), DST is almost saying yeah it's another Spidey wave, yeah it pisses people off, but Marvel Minimates are going strong and there's another wave gonna come out soon after this one. 24 waves and boxsets, how many other toy lines can say that? Other than Spawn. Besides as others have said it's not always about the fans, 3 more spideys will scoop up kid consumers too.

Personally when the wave comes when we get all the fan-favourites together; Deadpool, Gambit, Moon Knight, that's the wave that I'll be concerned for the future of Marvel Minimates.

I say be patient, and besides now I don't have to make a Tarantula custom.

I would love to see minimates based on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles the movie.

Okay, I'd love to see minimates based on any Ninja Turtle license.

Predator

and The Running Man, not so much for Arnold but I want to see all those crazy gladiators as minimates.

Too bad Robocop and Predator are already Mez-Itz though.

Which movie series licenses do you think the DST should do next?

Personally I'd like to see;

The Terminator - particularly Terminator 2 everyone knows that's the best one. Characters I'd like to see are Arnold as the T-100, Sarah Connor, Kyle Reese, John Connor, the T-1000, the T-X, and the only character to make it in all three movies besides Arnold, Dr. Silberman

Lethal Weapon - All I really what is a two-pack of the greatest cop partnership ever Martin Riggs and Roger Murtaugh. and maybe Joe Pesci as Leo Gets

The Karate Kid - Again all I really what is Daniel and Mr. Miyagi, I'd settle for just Mr. Miyagi.

First Blood/Rambo - I think a minimate of Stallone as he appeared in First Blood Part II would be awesome.

The Usual Suspects - This one would be hard to narrow down into a box set but it would be great to see Verbal Kint, McManus, Fenster, Keaton, Hockney, Dect. Kujan, and *someone* in Keyser Soze get up.

Some other cool movie minimates would be Fight Club, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Ocean's 11/12/13 and the Matrix Trilogy.

a translucent Ion Wonderman, a translucent Dr Strange (in astral form), and of course the translucent Spidey we saw all those years ago...

see those I wouldn't mind...because we're had a regular release of them already.

Okay, well I just got my Series 20 today, and I was a little upset with Vision. Now I don't usually mind the clear/see through minimates, but I'm tired of this bull. I mean this is the second time they've released a mate half "phased" before a standard version of them is released. I mean I wouldn't mind a half phased of Vision or Shadowcat, someone down the line. But to release them before as the first version of them, that ticks me off.

It would be like getting a Hologram version of Leia, before getting her in her white costume.

Now I know a lot of you guys love the clear plastic mates, but I think they should release versions of them after. Like what they did with Sue Storm.

Now I try to buy my minimates from comic shops....but pretty much every comic shop has told me the same thing when I ask for Marvel Minimates.

" We have to order them special, because everyone wants the variants and there's not enough mass market for the rest of the series"

Which ticks me off because I live in a small town with only one comic shop and the owner likes to 3 months or so before he even puts an order in for me.

I'd actually kind of like to see a Daily Bugle box set with;

Joseph 'Robbie' Robertson

Betty Brant

Ben Urich

Hoffman

J. Jonah Jameson (get em with his signature vest and cigar....although probably won't see him cause he's a variant so replace him with a beefy, mulleted Eddie Brock)

Plus, I'd kinda like to see a 2-pack of Matt Murdock and 'Foggy' Nelson

To be honest with you I never thought we'd see 23 waves...so how long do you think marvel minimates is going to last as a line?

I mean there are only a thousand or so characters in the marvel universe right?

We could use some more baddies from the Brotherhood of Mutants.....so many have been unrealized...Blob, Sabretooth, Toad, Destiny, Mastermind, Post, Pyro, Avalanche

Man, I could go on forever...maybe I'm more of an X-fan then I think.

Plus a Wrecking Crew would be nice.....

Does anyone else think that the variant for the series should be both the figures in the 2-pack?

I mean the only downfall I see in that is for people who buy them loose.

Is it wrong to assume that one of those Iron Mans is Iron Monger.

I mean I haven't seen the movie yet but it would make sense to have the main villian in the wave.

I think the one in the top right of the group shot is him, just judging by what little that you see of him in the trailer.
