Found them!

Apparently the empty peg near all the other Minimates in the store wasn't a good spot to place these, so instead they stuck them way at the top of a shelf some distance away with a bunch of non-Sony, non-video game, non-Minimate stuff with no price tag. Sometimes I hate TRU.

I actually found these and the Calico Jack sets today at TRU.

So I went by TRU today. Don't know why, force of habit I guess. Anyways, they had all these guys, and the Sony Mates, and First Class. I hate being broke.

See, I can find none of those at my local TRU. (Or RGB, if those are out yet)

For those finding these, are they located in the Minimate area, or somewhere else?

No signs of these in Greenville just yet (along with X-Men First Class).

These still aren't in my store (unless they've stashed them somewhere nonsensical). Halo series 2 did show up this week though, so I think that means these should show up soon.

I hosted the images through my dropbox, so I dunno if that has any effect on who can see them. I'm overly paranoid about using it.

Edit: There, changed the image hosting to Photobucket, so maybe they'll work for everyone now.

I go to South Prefecture Highschool with my bestest friend in the whole world, Hitomi. We're always having fun together. I like having fun!

Sometimes, when I get too excited, I can summon a giant sword! I don't know where it comes from, but I don't worry about it too much. I just try not to tear stuff up too much. People don't seem to like that.

I like cats too! They're so cute and cuddly! My favorite hat makes me look like a cat.

Sometimes I get really angry. My whole body starts to hurt, and then I black out. I'm not sure what happens after that, but when I wake up, there's always a huge mess and people are scared of me. I hope no one gets too mad at me. Especially Hitomi.

Hitomi told me about this great competition! It's called the Tournament of Fighters. The winner gets whatever their hearts desire! Maybe I'll participate. I hope I don't get angry. I don't want anyone to be mad at me.

I imagine it's easier to do bios on historical figures like Calico Jack than it is to make them up, especially when the character is "Cop #2."

Bio's exist for MAX as well to go with their storyline.

Cop #2 is the young, inexperienced partner to the grizzled veteran Cop #3. When Cop #3 is killed by Robber #1 only 2 days until retirement, Cop #2 vows to get vengeance for his fallen mentor.

What's the general time frame for when they quickly sell out on TRU.com and when they start hitting shelves?

I think the best part is that Doc runs over Clint Eastwood, instead of the established pattern of Kirk doing it.

Should I be worried that Halo series 3 will be hitting in June when I still haven't seen Halo series 2?

I was able to order these with no issues as well, logging in as myself, etc.

I actually hope to see all the other new stuff in my local store, so I only jumped on these at the moment. Its odd ordering a Marvel Minimate from their website, especially an exclusive.

Oh, and welcome buttheadsmate. We used to have someone else by that user name, but he left. Must have deleted his account if you were able to use the same name.

I understand that it would be impractical to make every single character from every movie, and they don't want to run the risk of over-extending themselves in the process, but sometimes you have to wonder why they draw the line so close to the finish.

We got two waves of Spider-Man 3 when they barely had enough characters to fill them without about 5 variations of Spider-Man, but since then they've played on the conservative side. We missed out on the main villain from Iron Man 2 (but at least we got battle damaged versions of the heroes...sort of ) and now we'll have Thor with an army of Frost Giants and Asgardians, so long as none of them have names. Seems to me they could just produce the last sets and mix them in with other last sets or just add them to the comic assortment. They had Hulk, Punisher, and Iron Man sets in the early TRU assortments, so I don't see why it would be a problem to do it now. Is it cost prohibitive? They've said in past Q&As that tooling doesn't seem to be that big a deal and that new parts are actually cheaper than layers of paint.

Oh, and if we're doing a woulda/coulda/shoulda box set, how are they going to fit the entire Ghost Rider wave, as well as the missing X-Men into one box with Heimdall, the Warriors 3, and Whiplash?

I've finally seen these in my TRU. I'm not sure if I should be hopeful that series 10 will show up a few months after the rest of the world, or fear that they'll skip 10 since 9 is peg warming.

I've locked in the look of my character, and I'm just lacking a bit of touch up paint and it should be done. Of course, I'm still shopping for names, but that should click in place soon (I hope).

Then its just a matter of shipping it. My last Charitymate entry died during transit so it never made it to auction. Hopefully I can come up with something a bit more safe this time.

I don't know much about the comic, but I enjoyed the movie. I think they struck a good balance between a solo story and tying it into the greater Marvel movie universe.

I'll agree that there could have been a bit more action to balance out the comedy, but overall a good watch.

I liked when Thor called the SHIELD agent "Son of Coul". Completely slipped under the radar for most of the folks in the theater, but I laughed.

Now cue all the nutcases who think either he's been dead and we waited to parade the body out now that its re-election time, or he isn't dead and we're all a bunch of liars.

I already changed my card when they first announced this, so it doesn't effect me in either case. I get the feeling that a lot of the supposed news that comes out regarding this will be contradictory and possibly just hearsay.

All we know for fact is:

1. The PSN was hacked

2. They accessed some personal data

3. A ton of lawyers and politicians have gotten themselves involved in the whole mess

4. The cheese stands alone

Best thing we can do is to monitor our credit/account, change our account stuff if we feel necessary, and wait and see.
