Love these 2 waves, but can anybody at DST confirm that the Wolverine shipping with Deadpool will more or less be a re-issue of the Secret Invasion Wolvie with his (non whisker) mask or no mask at all?

Well, I was completely off base (don't see how I won any Minimates from my picks, frankly), but am really happy with these. Nice to see the wacky army builders, Gambit, Psylocke, Sabretooth, Deadpool. Awesome. But if I am to nitpick, and I am--2 more Iron Men? I love Iron Man, but wow. He must surpass Spidey and Wolvie in terms of re-releases at this point. I really hope that Wolvie gets an updated, removable "classic" mask. . .

Now, how is Gambit a minority, exactly? Being a southerner?

He's Cajun. Told you one was a stretch... That was mainly to get people thinking it was someone else, but come on... he's in the new movie. How could we do a Wolverine-themed wave right before the movie and NOT include Gambit?

I do love retiring customs.

A question, though: Don't we already have "a classic" Iron Man? Are we talking about the same armor from wave six (and it looks like that from the picture), or the second "classic" armor from the late 80's/early 90's (right after the Silver Centurion armor)?

If it is the one we already have, is it going to be retooled in some way, or is it a straight re-release designed to make an older and (marginally) harder-to-find mate available to newcomers?

i will be happy if they repaint him gold & red instead of yellow and red so he fits in with the new armours

The new Iron Man will be a big improvement over the Series 6 release (and come on, we're talking about Series 25 here! It's been long enough!). The added shoulder bits alone would seal the deal for me.

OK, I won't mention the all new __________ or the re-release of the ___________ for the new _____________ and _____________ box sets at all.

If the Secret Invasion counts as own Series, that might be a pretty good idea. Since I have Sabertooth in the third Pack, a Skrull fits there as well as any other army builder. You migth have convinced me.

Oh, and I just realized, that - at least in wave 26 - the variant is not the variant of one of the character in the same wave, since the clues:

- Four are new characters making their Minimates debut

- Three are new costumed versions of previously released characters

Not true. No one ever said the "Three new costumed versions of previously released characters" were all DIFFERENT characters. Two of them could be the same character but in different outfits. Just sayin'.

I actually LIKE the disjointed waves...more variety... now to wait until tomorrow for the big reveal.

So I guess no Pictures, just line up?

We aren't ready to release final pictures just yet, but I did find comic images with all the right costumes for each one. So you'll at least know which outfits, etc they'll be in.

A definition of "minority" is "A group having a distinctive presence within a society." I think that being "from the future" could count as a minority group.

Once you see who the "minorities" are this will make sense.
