I really miss these guys. I wish we'd bet costume variations (like this!) instead of just random elf hats. But I still want more. Why are these so hard to get? What's with the general lack of promo mates all together lately? The Zombie Mate is about it for the last 3 years. :/

I will say that the Comics pro is one of the few that I'm still missing. But honestly, retailer or con exclusive, I don't care how they get out there. More minimates are always a good thing!

I stopped cosplaying because nobody likes seeing fat people in costumes. I'm working on losing weight so I can cosplay again though.

Which is sad, because I was really looking forward to buying Mr. Sinister. I guess I can buy it online, but I wanted to buy it in-store, support the LCS, and not pay for shipping. I can understand why he's not ordering new waves anymore, since I'm one of two people that buys them and I think the other person stopped collecting. He has a whole spinning rack in the toy section just sitting there with Minimates on them, but they're mostly shelfwarmers since most of the good ones have been bought already. I've done my fair share of buying so I don't think I can like, buy all of the ones he has expecting new ones to come in.

Has anyone else had their stores stop selling Minimates?

I'd make Minimates out of candy, then get sued when people try to eat regular Minimates.

Medicom actually produced 2 waves (wags?) of kubrick dogs & a Maine Coon cat, 6-7 years ago & mine have grown on me over the years . They are known as Bawbricks which I assume is a Jap bastardisation of the words Paw & Brick. The 2 chase figures are the Disney dog Pluto & the Sony metal-robotic dog that I recall from the old Sony ads. Kubricks take some stick from people here....rightly so a lot of the time... but in many ways they had been light years ahead of Minimates.....until Ghostbusters came along
