SErge, you should really catch up on GLC.

I'm a huge Geoff Johns fan, but leading up to BN I would say Tomasi's stuff in GLC is better than GL.

Okay, back on track:

GL48 & BN5 hit today.

WARNING GL48 is meant to be read BEFORE BN5. There is a disclaimer, but it is a misprint. It reads "This tackes place before BN6."

Onto the spoilerish stuff:

Out color team finally gets together in GL48 and the 7 of them (plus Ganthet & Sayd) head to earth in BN5.

Flash, GL and the others battle the horde of Coast City zombies and unltimatly kill Scar (The evil guardian).

All is in vain, however when Nekron reveals that he is responsible for the resurrections of all the heroes over the years. He kept them from "perma-death" so he could use them now. He then sends out a bunch of new black rings which zombify everyone who's died in the past (Donna Troy, Superman, Wonder Woman, Superboy, Green Arrow, Kid Flash, ect.)

The issue ends with rings flying towards Hal & Barry...

I heard what happen in GLC, and I'm anxious to read!!, today I bought just BN5 and not Gl, and I'm kicking myself in the teeth for not getting, damn budget!, any way BN5 was amazing, Ivan eis has become one of my top 5 artists he's an amazing penciler!, the spreads in the book are just jaw dropping they could easy be posters, I know I would buy it. My favorite is the cover of BN 6, just a beautiful cover that I'm proably gonna hang on my wall!. Back to the story, wallly, bart and barry= win, especially wally wearing his new costume, fresh outta of FR#5. There is one problem I had with the issue was a typo on page 23, where indigo 1 is telling the other lanterns that they must destroy the central battery, and hal asks what they need to do, and she responds but addresses him as sinestro, I was like what the?, its a small thing, but it kinda bothered me for a while.

Only three issues left and boy what a cliffhanger, Next week BN Flash!

I own the first Ultimate Alliance--essentially an update of the X-Men Legends games--and I would love to see a DC version. This series was really the best superhero franchise to come along until the recent Arkham Asylum (which obviously provides a very different kind of superhero playing experience). I think the DC Universe game sounds stupid. Who wants to play as some generic character interacting with all the well known superheroes?

I thought that too when I first heard of it too, but I'll give a rental and see how it fairs up, hopefully Dc doesn't screw it up, and if they too eh... but I really dunno about having a Dc ultimate alliance game,maybe since I myself never played the marvel UA that I have the feeling it wouldn't work, guess I should play it . BUt an arkham asylum 2 would be a better deal, or maybe a new superman game done in the same dedication as arkham asylum, now that would be awesome.

I don't think they should, i mean ultimate alliance though I never played ,I have heard has some bad controls, , Plus isn't the upcoming Dc universe online game kinda like ultimate alliance in which this time you make your own superhero and choose who you want on your team?

ya'know looking at that flash ring up closely ,thanks to minijeff's pic, makes me realize how cool it really is!, hence forth I take back everything I said about the flash ring, you should definitely buy it!

i heard the quality aint as good as the bn promo rings, I wanted one too, since Barry's the man, but I'll have to pass on it, I for one think it aint worth it, if the quality isnt good.

I been enjoying all the main bn issues especially 3 and 4, I love how 4 focused on only flash, mera, and atom. GL is really good,sinestro, carol, and hal what a team! not up to speed with GLC, but love it so far. As for the tie-ins, they are alright, but nuthin special, though I can't wait for BN flash. and these rings are so cool! also flash rebirth is awesome, Johns is on top!

I would love(no pun intented) a star sapphire set! and a red lantern set with dexstar. Even though yellow is one of my favorite corps, color of fear seems meaningless without that super awesome very expensive sinestro!

well, it was fun and what a fun wave! 90s jean looks good! and agreeing with others, SI jean is THE jean for me. but still sweet, 90s xmen. Now heres hoping a tru pack with jubilee/ xavier.

hellfire club goons are cool, but black queen is eh, but understandable. a jean grey is a lock, so who could be this last one? the suspense is killing me, I hope it'll last.

I think it works as the Crow though even without any changes... (but on the other side of the coin knowing Gambit is an easy custom into Joker makes him far more tempting to buy.)

I've seen like two episodes, and It's great. Kids can finally be able to name most of the superheroes that are not big names. Though it's not as good as brave and the bold, another show on CN that helps kids learn about the other none big names in the Dc universe, I know I learned about a bunch of new characters. CN, you may not have some cool original shows like in the 90's, but you do have some wicked superhero shows!
