I can deal with Vulture having lime-green wings.
I can glue the shit out of Doc Ock's tentalces and make them stay in his back.
I can swap parts between the two Black Cat's to make one.
But that Spidey is just a botched job of crap.
Mystery Man pretty much summed up my thoughts exactly.
Although if you listen carefully to BannersID's advise (thanks for some tips), you should be able to fit Dr Octopus’s Tentacles into place without superglueing them. Although, I did not make the holes bigger than the front or hear a snap, I did use scissors to enlarge the hole which allowed me to get the tentacles in. Much Like BannersID did, I opened my scissors, using only one of the blades, and placed the blade in the hole of Doc Ock’s back and slowly twisted (only briefly) to enlarge the hole, which allowed me to get the tentacles. When I fit my tentacles in, I twisted them into the hole instead of just trying to push them straight in. Also use scissors with a pointed tip or else you may make the hole to big.
As for Black Cat, luckily the chest on my figure is lighter in color than most of the pictures members are showing.

will series 34 be shipping to comic shops next wednesday (the 31st), gang????
My LCS have them on their ship list.
Mine has them coming in this week also!
-
My comic shop is getting in the Spider–Man Friends and Foes box set this Wednesday, along with wave 33 and the individual Iron Man 2 movie packs, but conspicuously no wave 34…hmmm…good thing I jumped on the BBTS bandwagon and got these early because who knows when these will be released nationwide.
-
I doubt that they are released too soon we only just saw the prototypes.
I'm sure your right minimadman, but then again if someone told me DST was going to rlease wave 34 early and push back wave 35, I probably would not have believed that either.
Curious though, I wonder how long it has been since they showed us prototypes of wave 34 and this months release date?
-
Good news. I cannot wait for some IM2 single packs. (Along with the friends and foes box set)
Curious though why wave 34 is not coming out next week also? (Maybe the release of wave 34 on BBTS was a mistake?)
-
I got mine from BBTS today. These two waves are excellent. Once my comic shop gets these waves in, I can start on some army builders!
-
The ones I got were $7.49 (also I watched a friend purchase some today, still for $7.49).
-
You know, since they unexpectedly released wave 34 earlier than expected along with wave 33, I wonder if they will release wave 36 earlier (maybe with wave 35?) to coincide with the Iron Man 2 release.

You should have dropped by the site last week Jason when I was helping Houstonians by posting the spots I had found the exclusives at:
-
Anyone else's comic store not getting wave 33 (or obviously 34) this week?
Good thing I went ahead and ordered these waves from BBTS, but I usually get the rest of my army builders from the comic shop.

Great pics...now I'm thinking I might have to get a few more Menaces so I can have a couple more gliders!

Another find for anyone living in Houston, Texas.
Today, I had seen and left a WWH/ Stretch Attack Mr. Fantastic & Klaw/Secret Wars Storm at the TRU on Bunkerhill (I-10 & the beltway).
Once again, I hope that helps.
-
Wow, that was fast. I ordered both wave 33 & 34 yesterday and they sent an e-mail to me this morning telling me they had already shipped my sets out. I cannot wait until wave 34 is in my hands! A month early bump up, makes me feel like its still x-mas!!

For anyone living in Houston, Texas.
Yesterday, I had seen and left a WWH/ Stretch Attack Mr. Fantastic & Klaw/Secret Wars Storm at the TRU on Fairmont (Pasadena/Deer Park area).
I hope that helps.

Anyone else notice that the Iron Man single pack boxes have been removed from afx's website?
Hard to believe they would stop taking pre-orders.

Oh, sure I used to get yelled at for necroing threads, but this guy can necro a year old thread with no problem.
Back on topic, sign me up for a Bela Lugosi mate.
I guess this is why nobody gave me a hard time for necroing the thread, because I had a clue what I was talking about. (unlike this guy )
Back on topic, it looks like we will finally be getting Universal Monster minimates!
-
This picture shows that most of the Universal Monsters will be coming to the party!

Welcome to the board. I first started by collecting DC/C3 minimates. However, once DC direct killed the line, after awhile I found myself longing for more.
During the summer of 2008, I decided to start collecting Marvel minimates & Marvel moviemates. At first I was only going to purchase a few here and there, but now, a year and a half later, I have collected all of the Marvel moviemates and nearly all of the Marvel minimates ever produced.
(I am still 8 away from having all of the Marvel minimates, and of course 2 of those 8 are the ever elusive gold & silver spider-man exclusives)
So now I'm hooked! (I also collect select moviemates mainly, terminator, rocky, platoon, silence of the lambs, and LOTR)
(Is their a minimates anonymous group I can join? I admit it, I'm addicted to plastic crack! )
Meanwhile, good luck on your endeavors, I'm about to head out to TRU as we speak in search of wave 6.
-
I was lucky enough to be the first one to find wave 5 last time.
Obviously, I doubt my luck will be that good this time, but as long as I find the exclusives, thats all I care about. (the others in the wave should be easy enough to find)
Either way it looks like tomorrow I'll be doing some hunting.
-
It obviously depends on the person purchasing the items, and considering they are sold at TRU and collectable comic shops, I'd vote for both. If I had to lean one way or the other, since I'm 39, I'd go collector.
-
I just picked up a pair myself. Good deal!
-
I'm not sure if this helps, but here is a comparison picture.
The blue iceman is the Target version, while the clear one is the wave 11 version.
This picture simply reminds me of the sad truth that we have a rediculously huge amount of Wolverines. Saddest thing is, that's not even all of them.
True enough Trekker 42, way too many Wolverine's.
Here is an updated pic, with all of the Wolvie's accounted for.

Terminator minimates (I have everyone)
(and in October, Universal monster minimates)
