  1. I would like...

    Crash/Cortex (Crash Bandicoot)

with wumpa fruit, gun and crate

    Eggman/Shadow (Sonic The Hedgehog)

with chaos emeralds, and eggman being 3"

    Ratchet/Clank (Ratchet & Clank)

with Clank being smaller than ratchet and also a clank backpack piece

    Yoshi/Koopa (Mario Bros)

with extended tounge addon, and a removable shell on the koopa

    Variant: Maria /Super Shadow

The only thing is large headed characters (Yoshi, Shadow, Cortex.etc) and complicated pieces (Crash has no neck, and a smaller than 2" mate?) would make chars like this quite unlikely.

  2. I have started a petition about Doctor Who mates on this page. sign the petition and then I'll email this page to Underground Toys when it has a good amount of signatures

I'll happily sign but I don't think on-line petitions get anywhere unless they have like hundreds of thousands legit signatures.

I Agree, but its worth a try.

  3. I think a Dalek could just be a slightly cartoonish looking Dalek assembled using Minimate connection techniques. It could seperate in half, using something with the same parts as the wiast for minimates, making it easy for the lower half (with the spheres) to be attached to a normal MM upper body to make a simple Davros. The arms and head could use things like the MM balljoints, but don't bother putting a real MM body in there.

The only thing about that is it would be hard to identify as a minimate.

Take this guy, he may not look much like a minimate, but he's still recognisable as one. I suggest they gave a dalek a regular minimate head with a headpiece like 'Thing' from wave 5 , which would have the "ears" on.

  4. I have collected my entire Minimate collecton on-line . Without US ebay in particular it would have been impossible. Minimates are 'apparently' no longer retailed in Europe, although Forbidden Planet still advertise them, so it is unlikely that you'll find them in shops. I have mentioned 'Limited edition' before,I believe. Regarding your brother's experience ,I sympathise but it's unusual if the seller had reasonable feedback. I buy something off of ebay ever day & have only had a couple of bad deals, maybe I'm lucky?

Hulk & Iron-Man? I know you probably mean that you want those particular versions but forthcoming waves will be awash with these characters. Try also the Have/Want threads here ,I can't believe there's not one or either on offer. Also check the For Sale thread but under no circumstances look at my post there because my prices are extortionate :P

It's never been easy collecting Minimates esp. in GB but this place here is your best shot.

Thanks! I just realized after I posted 'Oh man, how dumb am I' remembering about the Hulk and Ironman movies

Just looked up Hulk & Ironman movie Mini's and Seen pictures of them. the Ironman looks Brilliant, and Hulk looks cool but the green looks a bit odd, unless its just the image.

  5. Hi, I'm back again with another question.

Since I am new to minimates, being only young, and not a hardcore marvel fan, most of the Mini's that interest me are in early waves, and i dont like to use eBay as my brother ordered something months back that is yet to arrive.

Anyway, I was wondering were in UK I can find the original Hulk and Ironman Minis?

  6. It'd be a good idea in my opinion. We could have fun recreating the powers, and they could reuse those power blasts from the Street Fighter mini's.

EDIT: I think one big 12-pack might be enough for heroes.

    Including:

Peter (firey alternate hands, like his Mezco figure)

    Claire (with injured extra parts)

    Hiro (with kensei sword)

    Sylar (with a brain... :P )

    Mohinder (uhm.....)

    Matt (handgun)

Nathan (some kind of flying stand)

    Niki (alternate Jessica face)

    Adam (Kensei armor?)

    Noah (gun)

Elle (big electric blasts, like Human Torch's fire one)

Micah (with bag full of comics, and DL's medal)

  7. I(we) know very little about the proposed Dr.Who Minimates though your conjecture is welcome. Cybermen are obviously some of your favourite characters. They lean heavily on the BSG Modern Cylon character already produced,so it is possible that an early 'army' builder might happen. Chase figures in each Minimate Wave are packed with a (more)common figure.

    Army builders would be great!

I just thought up how they could make a Dalek.

Im not sure what figure it was, but somewhere I saw a minimate that had a wheelchair with a cover over it. If the wheelchair looked like a dalek lower part, and the cover went over, it would look like a dalek bottom. for the top, they could do a torso plate, similar to 'Powerhouse Thing' which would have dalek weapons on the front, with the minimates real arms removed, or even used as those weapons. and for the head, have a helmet similar to Juggernaut, with a hole for the eye, and if the headpiece was blue, that would look like the eye.

I know that this would break the 14-point articulation rule, but look at people like Kingpin and Sandman

Woah, I need a nap. zzzzzz...

EDIT: I found out who the wheelchair guy was, its Prof.Xiaver (spelling?)

  8. I like them! go Rose and Gwen! :D

Anyone know how these will be packaged?

    I reckon:

    10th Doctor and Cyberman

    Martha and Jack

    9th Doctor and (Rose?)

With the chase being either a 10th Doctor or Cyberman Variant :P

Oh, by the way, how does the chase figure thing work? do you have to buy it by itself?

  9. Not sure if this is the right area to ask, sorry if it isn't.

I just spotted the Fantastic 4 Two packs on amazon for £2.95 each with £3.00 postage. Is this a good deal?

Sounds like a reasonable deal to me. Those aren't that difficult to find, but those prices are pretty typical for Minimate 2-pack. It may even be a better than average deal if you are in the UK, since Minimates sold there tend to be more expensive due to the cost of bringing them over from the U.S., etc.

Wow! Sounds cool! :highfive2: i'd much rather regular Thing than the powerhouse version, but i'd also rather get the one thats easier to find.

Also, the mr.fantastic + human torch pack has £3.50 postage. Does the human torch's flame blast make the package heavier then?
