I have a fried who defended all of his movies up and down, but he even couldn't find any saving graces with "the Happening."

But I agree, Sixth Sense was really nice, Signs had an interesting plot somehow, haven't seen Unbreakable yet, but the Paul Giamatti Movie - I really loved him in Sideways and American Splendor - was just terrible.

And talking about the twist ending thing in the Happening: it wasn't a real twist ending at all, because

(I guess by Mark Wahlberg, who usually sucks, except in I ♥ Huckabees.)

Hey, you made some really cool pics there. After reading your post, I just wondered how my personal ranking would look like, so I counted the pics I used from erverybody. Just for fun.

I used my laptop as a background backdrop. (If you look at my Star wars lego videogame entry you can see it better) I put a T-shirt on the keys, then looked up pics on yahoo of a temple or water etc....

I used my laptop as a background for the videogame challenge (Bioshock) and for the Sentry Pic I used in my video link. That's a nice and easy way to add some special backgrounds, but it's hard to get a nice and warm light using it.

I browsed all pics and made up a personal best-of, which you - if you like to - can view here. There are some awesome pics and I tried to come up with my personal favorite for each challenge. I also tried to comment on every pic I've chosen. Certainly I did not add any of my own pics in this hall of fame thing, so you're free to say, "Bob, your image for challenge #XY should definitely be added to this selection of pure awesomeness"!

The two Godzilla movies I enjoyed most were "Son Of Godzilla" and "Godzilla Vs. Gigan". I think I saw both of them when I was around 10 years, so of course, I really was into monsters!

I really liked the mantises in the first one - there is this scene, when three or four of them play with Godzilla's egg, which I really loved - but were a little afraid of the giant spider Kumonga.

The second one features one of my favourite allies, "Angilas". There is this scene at the end of the movie, when Godzilla smashes King Ghidorah and Angilas uses his spiky carapace and kinda drives against the three headed beast. I loved that sequence! Yay, Angilas!

We're almost there, my stuff is pretty much done (basic administrivia and images uploaded etc.) I'm just waiting on some responses from the judging panel and we're good to go!

I'm glad that you'll make it at latest on monday, 'cause tuesday I will go on holiday for a week. Bad thing is, for me living in another time zone, I'll most likely be asleep when you guys start cheering for the winners.

Forget all of the crappy offshoots of the Avengers, my Minimate collection will not be complete until I have an original Sam Wilson (Falcon). He was one of the first black heroes and was still the coolest of all times.

I would love a Falcon Minimate as well, and apart from the West Coast Avengers (whose members were pretty much all "regular" Avengers at some point, anyway), I agree with you. I don't need any "Young," "Ultimate," or "Kids of the" Avengers in my collection.

You can count me in here as well - although I really like the Ultimate Thor desgin - I'd definitely buy a Falcon!

Must restrain getting into Mighty Muggs as well! Have to be strong here! Aarghh!

My first suggestion for the challenge itself was karamazov80 - not to be mistaken for "karamazoff" - but my idea of emulating it was hard to realize or that is to recognize. (At least with my cell phone camera not being able to do real close ups...) But I ended up arranging the same idea with

, which - hopefully - went very well!

So my suggestion is one of those two. Or buttheadsmate, just to follow the crowd.

(Although my boyfriend doesn't buy them for me, he doesn't say a whole lot about them all over the house.)
