  1. Nice work Chaz, but channeling my father. dont you have a job or school or something??? :)

I'm a flight attendant, but I'm on vacation and last month I quit going out drinking to save money so I had spare time on my hands. Each design only takes me about 10-20 minutes to do, but I was taken aback by how many there were too. :P I'm in Seattle right now, and I'll be getting on a ship tomorrow....so no new designs for a while.

    Two-Face: I use Arcsoft Photostudio...but I'll get a better program when I get around to it. :)

  2. I'll be unable to design any minimates for a week and half. I'll be on an Alaskan cruise.(but still possibly log on here. )

  5. Phenominal Chazwinski, just phenominal! Now I hafta ask... Are we going to see Bond villains and henchman next? Hugo Drax and Jaws? Goldfinger and Oddjob? Max Zorrin and Mayday?

No male villains yet, but I've been doing a lot of the Bond girls (Mayday was one of them)

Amazing likenesses there Chaz! Solitaire and Jinx are hot! I still can't believe you're doing these using MS Paint - you might find yourself working for DST if you get your hands on Photoshop or Illustrator.

It's actually Arcsoft Photostudio 5.5... but you're right...it's sub-standard. Crippler was kind enough to offer sending me a better program, but I'm lazy about that kind of stuff.

  6. Also, I wanted to let you know I've been working hard today and finished all six actors who played James Bond, but I want to hold off on showing them until I decide which Bond girl goes with each guy. Lazenby's easy...it has to be the Countess Teresa he married (Diana Rigg)...but the other guys had so many cool Bond girls, it's hard to decide. :P

  7. Nice Bond and Honey. Anymore Bond characters up your sleeve Chazwinski?

Definitely...I love James Bond characters...it just hadn't occured to me before. Honey was definitely my favorite Bond girl, though...and she was the first! Did you know Ursula Andress (Honey), Linda Evans (Dynasty), and Bo Derek (10) were all married to the same guy? They all look alike, too. It was like he kept trading them in for younger versions of themselves.

Loving the designs Chaz - especially RoboCop and Batman/Azrael! So how long until you open your own studio to produce "mate-like" products?

    I wish! :P

  8. Well I'm loving playing with my Borg's, all they need is a queen

    I'm free!post-638-1219828606_thumb.jpg

Oh God, Not "Are You Being Served?" It's the "Three's Company" of the BBC.

No, "Man about the house" is the "Three's Company" of the BBC. You Americans can't even write an original bad sitcom. You have to license them from the Brits (Yes, the spinoffs as well)! LOL Not that the CBC is putting out timeless masterpieces or anything.

Hmmm....I'll need to check out this "Man about the house".

  9. very nice new entries chaz. i plan on using more than ten of theses desgins (if you dont mind) for customs!

i was planning on making a rachel summers in her green and yellow costume, any plans on a design for that one?

Like I've said before, anybody is more than welcome to steal my designs...I can't make them myself because I don't have the patience or money and it's a treat to see them actually made. Let me know when you're finished with one, though...I'd love to see them.

  10. Lol...It seems a lot of people wanted Mockingbird instead of Jewel. Which is funny because I keep hearing that Jessica Jones/Jewel is a fan favorite and no one really gives a darn about Mockingbird...but I don't know anything about Jewel and I would have rather had Mockingbird too.

I've been reading Marvel since shortly after Avengers: Disassembled, so I don't know anything about Mockingbird (other than what's been mentioned in Secret Invasion). It looks like she was Hawkeye's love interest, but what made her an Avenger? More specifically, when was she an Avenger, does she have any powers, how did she die, etc. If anyone can help me out, I'd appreciate it.

Since I don't know much about Mockingbird, I'm one of the people that actually prefers Jewel to Mockingbird for this boxset. However, that might change when I find more out about the character.

Mockingbird started out as a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent and didn't really have any superpowers. She was an expert at fighting with metal staves and various martial arts, though. She and Hawkeye got married right before the Secret Wars in the early 80's. She and Hawkeye founded the West Coast branch of the Avengers, but she divorced Hawkeye after she was raped by Phantom Rider and Clint didn't believe her. Later in the series she supported him when he was being alienated by the rest of the team. I felt like they were getting back together when she was killed by Mephisto (saving Clint's life, I might add). Hawkeye has always carried some guilt with him where she's concerned.

OOps, You beat me to it, Fo Shizzle. I guess that would've been easier. LOL
