  1. I would get all of the Shi'ar/Starjammers Wave and although l'd love a Callisto, I'd pack her with Marrow instead of Maggott, so that they could re-release Juggernaut with Black Tom. Have you seen the prices of the Juggernaut that came with the Excalibur set lately? Sheesh! I still don't have him and that's a travesty for an X-Men fan. ;)

  2. Most of these have already been mentioned, but I guess I never did add my wishlist to this thread.

    1. Blade Runner: (the original, not 2049) This is by far my favorite sci-fi movie and if they were ever made you might have to wipe me off the floor. As this movie has always been plagued by licensing problems, I know it's a pipe dream, but that's what wishlists are for. It's definitely my #1 most wanted license.

    2. Game of Thrones: I hate to be "that guy" but I loved ASOIAF long before it became popular, and only minimates could do this series justice and give us such a large cast of characters. Other action figure companies just wouldn't be able to give us all the minor characters involved that add to the greatness of the saga. I could see this line going on for years...each wave could be themed on a different house or location... but all this has been discussed before...

    3. The dead horse that is DC: Obviously we all want these and it's not happening. Being a huge Legion of Superheroes fan, it breaks my heart we never got a single Legionnaire... or finish the Teen Titans... or get a Black Canary... etc., etc., ad nauseum.

    4. Indiana Jones

    5. Flash Gordon

    6. POTA

Surprisingly, I'm okay without Star Wars, G.I.Joe, and MOTU...mainly because I have very nice collections of the first two, and dread the though of starting all over again in minimate form. It would basically break my bank account. As for MOTU, I think they are colorful enough to make awesome mates, but the show was always just a tiny bit droll for my taste (I'd probably still get them, though lol).

  3. Well, after no luck at the Walgreens stores in my usual areas, I ventured to a Walgreen's in a sketchy area and lo and behold, I found Medusa and Black Bolt. Medusa looks really nice, in hand, guys. Still haven't seen any Ragnarok mates, but I must say, I got that old familiar rush of happiness when I found this set.

  4. Thanks for the advice, WeaponX.

My youngest kid is almost 13. Seeing my wife's expression when I put "baby wipes" on the grocery list is gonna be priceless.

Telling her it's for the minimates probably won't help either.

The original clear variants of White Queen and Sue Storm seem to have yellowed up some too, but they're both clear, so it's harder to distinguish. They both feel tacky to the touch now, which I hate (I've read that has to do with oils being relased from the plastic over time? Notice it in lots of old toys. Iunno.)

Yes, I hate that tacky feel. It happened to my Ilia Probe for some weird reason and she isn't even clear and her face darkened quite drastically. My clear Invisible Woman did the same as yours, and being my only Sue Richards minimate, it makes me even sadder I missed out on all the FF updates.  (sorry for going so off topic.)

My biggest minimate regrets are that Wave 15 never came out, and that I can't get an Astonishing Emma Frost that stays white for longer than 20 minutes (And I've owned like... 4. The last two came pre-yellowed before I even opened them, lol.)

I'm glad I'm not the only one with this problem. Astonishing Emma and Photon yellowed pretty quickly (and Stay Puft Marshmellow Man to a lesser degree)... Ifelt I had done something wrong, but then I noticed I didn't have that problem with my Moon Knight, or any of Storm's hairpieces...

  7. When I became unemployed in 2013, I gave up minimates, comics, and basically all nonessentials except for the occasional 3.75" Marvel or Star Wars figure which is my first love...and I missed a lot of really great minimate waves, including being oblivious to a few licenses that I wanted such as Kill Bill, Pulp Fiction, Aliens, Sin City, and Buck Rogers. I started getting some that I missed, like the superb wave 60,but I'm still kicking myself for missing out on an updated Fantastic Four, Baron Zemo, Baron Von Strucker (really that whole wave 54), updated Scarlet Witch, Powerman & Iron Fist... It will be impossible to catch up completely. That's okay though, as I have most of my minimates stored away in their original packages (Except for the carded ones...I OPEN mine) and I've run out of room. Never thought of selling them though, not even once during the last few years of not collecting. Once I love something, I usually love it forever.

So, you're saying you have a cravin' for Kraven? ?

LOL Yes I would say that. I have become a bigger fan of him in the last few years. NerdyTrev is probably right though. I know people want Kaine to be made and it's my own fault I haven't sought out and paid for the original release. My thinking has been "Well, I can't get EVERYTHING I want."

I 100% feel you, bro. However, the last couple of years have been *VERY* good to X-fans. In the last 2 years we got the Brotherhood/Strike force wave, Brotherhood box set (Toad & co), Deadpool wave, GSXM wave, Wolverine wave, plus random figures in waves like Disco Dazzler, Apocalypse, & MN Magneto. We might have to wait till next year for the X-Love to return to SDCC, but we've had a couple of very good years outside of the cons.

That's a good point, Nessex. It's one of the main reasons I've been drawn back into collecting minimates again... DST has been very good to X-fans recently.

  10. Thanks for showing this, Bighurt546.   Grrrr....so frustrating that licensing keeps us from getting DC minimates... also the lack of X-Men merchandise (comic-con wide, not just DST) has been very tough for me...however, there were a lot of things that I liked and will be getting: The X-Men boxset (of course), Medusa, Some of the Thor:Ragnarok stuff (particularly Gladiator Thor, Hulk, and Hela), perhaps Jack-O-Lantern, Beetle, maybe Black Cat, Surtur, some Aliens... Sorry, No vinimates, although I admit that the Cthulhu was pretty cool... I'm still holding out hope that one day DST will get the Blade Runner, Indy,  or Game of Thrones licenses...Dark Tower, Elf, Beetlejuice, Nightmare are great for some people but just not my thing. Just so I end on a positive note, I'm really happy to see the line still going strong and it has been a lot of fun to pick this hobby back up after a long hiatus. I can't wait to search some of these down when they come out.

Seriously though - that hair sculpt is amazing, and it being a base that elevates her off the ground is exactly what i was hoping it would it would do. A+

I agree...the hair as a base is a very nice touch.

  12. New Characters:

    Classic Cosmic = Quasar?

Spider Rogue = Hammerhead? Prowler? Calypso?

    Legacy Anti-Hero = Don't care LOL

    New Looks & Redos:

Spider-Verser (to match Spider Rogue) = Black Cat done right this time?

New Hero Look (To match Legacy Anti-Hero) = No clue, but I want an X-man, darn it!

New Villain Look (To match Cosmic Classic) = I'd say Grandmaster or Collector but those haven't been made....maybe bulked-up Thanos?
