Yess...NOW it all makes sense why Scott has turned his back on Xavier's dream and has been acting like a jerk, ordering the X-Men around without any of their input in Uncanny X-Men lately. He's bitter because he had to do all of the chores!

Naturally, my faves are a little X-Men heavy.
BEST:
5. 90's Storm
4. SI Phoenix
3. Mephisto
2. Deadpool
1. Gambit
My reasons for the best just come down to which minimates I'd hate to lose most.
WORST:
5. Penance
4. Ultimate Spider-Woman
3. Blob (movie version)
2. WWII Wolverine
1. The Beyonder
My reasons for worst have mostly to do with horrible character choices or lack of interest.

Cool, Rich.
Welcome to the Minimate Multiverse.

Awesome! I love all three.
Santa needs a caption saying, "I got your bag of goodies right here!"
Merry Christmas!

Like you said, a picture is worth a thousand words. Go to Minimates Database and type "Iron Man". There are over 30 and it's all a matter of personal taste.

IMO , Black Canary was the biggest oversight in the entire DC line. The Justice League just feels like it's missing something without her. Hell, I would have took Zatanna over Ma Hunkle...but I guess they weren't expecting to stop as soon as they did. If they had only released one more wave with Dinah and a complete Teen Titans roster, I would have accepted the demise of DC much better (although secretly I had dreams of a complete Legion of Superheroes set.)

Great job on these, Eclipse.

I keep minimate boxes such as those that the Marvel figs come in. However, I don't keep carded figures backings such as the DC minimates packaging or the Marvel Universe line action figures. I used to, and I'm sure there are some hidden somewhere that I've forgotten to throw out from years ago from previous toy lines. I'm about to clean out my room because of the same lack of room you're complaining about. I think a lot of issues of "Wizard" are about to be thrown away!

I'm afraid, that you guys are wrong in that they just thought I'd like it because it's comic-related. My BF isn't as into comics as I am, but he knows the A-listers and their personalities. He thinks I act like Johnny Storm in some ways...and that's too bad, because I'm way too old for a frat-boy mentality. I always identified with Nightcrawler, myself. Sometimes Colossus when he was being artistic.

Ew. They're attractive, but it would be like sleeping with siblings. We've known each other for years.
-
I'm afraid, they may be thinking I'm arrogant and immature.
I'd rather think that it was because I was hot, but it's more likely that they are saying that I only think I am...which isn't a very attractive quality.

That is one drag queen I would NOT wanna piss off! Love it!
but otherwise you are cool with pissing off drag queens?
Actually, No. Well...only if they step on my foot with a spiked heel.

Nice work! The likenesses are spot on for Sookie and Bill. Are you planning on making the rest of the cast?
Eric, maybe? Actually, I'm having a little trouble getting into this show. I love vampires but have sort of been turned off by the romanticizing of them in series like Twilight and True Blood. Don't get me wrong...I think vampires should be portrayed as sensual, but dreamy teenage boys sparkling in the sunlight is NOT what a vampire story should be about. Also, in True Blood, making them a minority that is known to the world at large takes away from the supernatural, gothic quality that I like. Of course, none of this means that they wouldn't make cool-looking minimates. I had a lot of fun a while back with all of my Dracula minimates. Maybe I can do a group of "Famous Vampires"?

Cover Girl was one fugly female figure.
OK, you have me there. The GI Joe gals were ugly...but I like my Ms. Marvel and Jean Gey figures.

Although, it's Hasbro on the main movie line, so I'm not expecting a Widow in their IM2 toys. These are the guys who can do an X-Men line without Storm, Rogue, Kitty, or Emma despite thier prominent roles in the cartoon. Girl's have cooties afterall. (and all those Wolverine variants are still hanging on the peg, connection? lesson learned? Come on, this is Hasbro.)
I agree with you that Hasbro has been very lax in the female figure department, but they are getting better. The G.I. Joe movie line had at least 5 female figures and they are learning that we won't buy girl figures unless they're pretty. Black Widow ( the comic version, not the movie version) is due out in their MU 3.75" line in early 2010. I've seen the pics and she's actually quite pretty. Compare her to some of their first attempts...like their hideous Emma Frost from the Marvel Legends line.

I was so tired when I got off work and went to my LCS today that I accidently bought Extremis Iron Man & Titanium Man (that I didn't want) and left Cable and X-23 sitting there (which I do want). It's no big deal as Tony & Titanium Man can join my ranks and I can always order Cable and X-23 online....but I wanted them now!
