  1. omega red does indeed have a hole in the top of his head. I just landed that 2 pack last night along with a Dum Dum Dugan and I have to say the paint tampo on Omegas face is one of my all time favorites. Crisp clean and full of detail.

  2. The press release I read over stated she died from a long standing battle with cancer. I've wanted to post on this but it really escapes me what to say. I really liked that she had taken the role of Sarah Jane yet again and loved the way it tied the 2 universes together. Sad news indeed.

  3. Magnets incorporated into kids' toys are apparently frowned upon these days. Not all magnets & not all toys but I doubt somehow that DST would take the risk . Things must have changed recently because I know there is one mini block-figure line that used them in the feet....can't think of their though ?

I-Men used magnets in the feet and came with collector coins for stands. Maybe thats what you were thinking of

  4. GL is one of 2 characters I really enjoy from the DC universe. I just wanted to make note that Hal wasn't chosen because he is fearless, it was because he had the capacity to overcome his fears. As for the humor aspect I'll take it as long as it comes with a healthy dose of OA

  5. I thought the quality of this set was kind of middle of the road. In my set Meggans head wobbles around quite a bit on her neck peg. I also felt the need to take a sharpie and fill in the missing tampo area on her arms. Nightcrawler's shoulder thingies and the red on his body could have been matched a bit better as well. I guess I'm just wondering if everyone's was like this or am I special?

  6. im not saying 2.5 mates wouldnt be cool for say: giant man, goliath, atlas, etc. but for hulk and strong characters, i think this is the better route. i would be up for a poll

I agree it would be cool. In fact I think it worked really well on the DC line. In the end though I've come to accept (convince myself)that these are stylized block figures and the scale doesn't really matter.

  7. I thought one of the two other team members that Bishop came back with, to pursue Trevor Fitzroy, could manipulate time. When He/She was killed Bishop became trapped in the present and joined the X-men. I don't have the books any more but I want to say the energy effect was the standard swirling vortex. As for Cable, if I remember right, was sent into the future by Scott and Jean via one of Gateways portals and I thought he returned with Dooms time platform.

Of course its been 20 years since I've read these issues so this could be complete rubbish.
