    I honestly don't think the lack of a chase variant caused the DC line to fold. That line was unlike any line we have done before or since, INCLUDING Thundercats, and there were multiple toy companies involved, so I don't think we can point any fingers at why it truly ended.

    Both specialty and TRU Trek: Legacy assortments will be 4-3-3-2 -- I believe Archer gets the short stick in this particular assortment. Standard Marvel is still 4-4-3-1, but I think the Iron Man 3 specialty assortment will be 4-4-2-2, like the ASM assortment.

    Don't want to keep going on about it, but any idea when we can hear the case assortment for the TRU Trek: Legacy? I'm getting too excited waiting thumbsup.gif

    love them all the city on the edge 2 pack is sweet.. whos head did you use for the klingon? I have a huge stash of trek qc's like these and have a similar klingon but I used modern mandarins head for it

    Both my Klingons are the normal Klingon heads with different hairs. I think they work well.

    Glad you all like them. I am especially proud of the City On The Edge Of Forever set. Didn't take too long to figure out the outfits either.

    Will have to work on another batch soon.

    Customizing Questions

    I have sort of dropped the ball on my customs. I am skipping my Deanna Troi and Bele/Loki. I have made a revamped Orion Slave Girl, simply did a repaint of her dress and swapped her hair with Cheetah's and make the ears green. I did a head swap to get Kirk as he appeared in "Where No Man Has Gone Before". I made a few modifications to a second Borg mate to make him look a little different. I am also in the mood to use Namor's Hair and Sarek's head to mae a Romulan form the TOS era. I hope to have some time over the holidays to tinker with my ideas and then hope to share some images with you here.

    Matty-lad, you have a great looking set of customs for City on the Edge of Forever, Kirk and Spock is very nice. I was thinking of making a Kirk but was at a loss for how to pull off Spock with the cap. I like Lt. Givers as well.

    Thank you Minimyte. That hot water trick worked beautifully. Also, by paint, I meant when I paint joints. It's no worries anyways, I don't tend to move my customs much anyways to where it's a worry.

    Also, so I'm working on making the original 7 MMPR as minimates. (Red, blue, black, yellow, pink, white, green). And I need some suggestions for hairpieces. Tommy's hair and Zack's are the most troubles. Anybody got ideas?

    No, i love the control art they gave. Kara looks great there; hope she has that face so i can have an emotionless-to-pissed-to-focused-to-happy Kara chain. :lol: But wait; Lee is also in there!! And...some other guy (Hot Dog?? I only know the big, and semi-big pilots. BTW we need Crashdown :yes:)

    Hello, I am new to the Minimate Multiverse. I am a huge collector of the Star Trek Minimates. I am even working to customize a few. I am working on an Andorian and Lokai, one of the Cheron's from Let That Be Your Last Battlefield. I would think that DST would have completed TOS and then moved to TNG and so forth. I liked the fact you had all the bridge crew in the first two waves. I like the Rand and Chapel mates as well as the Mirror mates but we did not need Admiral Kirk and Captian Scott from WOK and Captain Decker and the Ilia Probe from TMP unless we were to get a complete crew. I love the Picard Mate and I think the borg mate is cool but I want more. It would be easy to get Riker since the have Picard and if color changing is easy then Geordi, Data, O'Brien and more from TNG would be easy. Same for DS9 since they have two version of Sisko and they can then do Voyager and Movie TNG characters all very easy so that should assist them in production.

    I want more Star Trek Minimates. I understand that DST did not get the license for the new movie but they still have the license to make Star Trek minimates and they could use the new movie as a way to get the minimates to the fans thay maybe have not experienced them yet.

    These are not totally dead in the water yet. Check out the latest Q & A over on the Art Asylum website, and I quote:-

    "Hi Chuck, any chances we could get Kirk and Spock in their gangster attire from “A Piece of the Action” in Minimate form. I’d certainly love to see Kirk take on the Godfather!"

    "DSTChuck: Brandon those were planned at one time and I do think they would make a GREAT two pack so you never know."

    I have had an extra Mirror, Mirror set sitting around since it came out, so I finally decided to make a few quick customs to finish off the main crew:

    Scotty uses Sulu's body. I didn't have an extra Scotty head, so I designed a new decal with a different facial expression for him. For McCoy, I turned Spock's body around, and drew a new chest on with a sharpie. I painted over the existing tampo on his back. The head is from Sick Bay McCoy, except I used Goof-Off to wipe off his mouth and I gave him a new mouth with a sharpie. Kirk is just there to give orders, like usual. :P

    Agreed, but if the exclusive were Data or Geordi, can you imagine the outrage from Minimate collectors?

    Since this exclusive is an actual show-based figure, not just "popular character with elf hat," I'm gonna have to get one. I just hope they made enough that I'll be able to score one at a reasonable price.

    No Minimates to Europe?

    Hey all,

    In the latest Q & A someone asked why Minimates are no longer being shipped to Europe. Does this mean that from now we will no longer be able to get them over here in the UK?

    I've not seen anything stating that on this board (or anywhere else.) Does anyone have any more info on this?
