  1. I, too, thought that was a wonderful little watch, certainly didn't feel like a whole ten minutes.

As someone from outside the US, it would have been very cool to have seen you go in and make a TrU purchase, as least having a look in store. I'm assuming you're not actually allowed to film that sort of thing though?

Great fun, and would also be very interested in an extended cut, perhaps over a longer time frame, and a bit of an exploration of your collection (did you really say it was worth about $15k?) I've been asked a few times what I'd get if I sold the lot... I doesn't really bare thinking about!

    In summary: loved it

  2. it really does, very pleased. I did like the last one, sure it had problems (mainly the eyes for me) but it served its purpose as a more quick, home assembled costume. I think they also wanted something different to distance it from the Raimi films? (perhaps going a little far).

Not 100% on the logo still, but its essentially perfect, and its all in the eyes for me... love 'em.

  3. Good stuff Shogi.

I do love that kubrick box set, and have considered purchasing on numerous occasions, as well as whipping up a Ripley minimate with a spare Dana.

Now I'm thinking about trying to pick one up for the Queen, as a vehicle Power Loader seems a given, but as others have said, I'm really not sure about seeing a proper sized Queen.

  4. I would say I prefer the spoilered kubrick to the 'mate, and that does seem to come down to the head.

I'm trying to think what Disney films would I'd be interested in, and Robin Hood was always one of my favourites... no way is that working without lots of unique sculpted heads and other parts, which doesn't seem likely from a cost effective point o' view.

  5. And we might get one. There are still a few mates they can't reveal. Lego, apparently, cares not. The broke the look of the Chituari too when it was still technically forbiden.

Apparently, if you want to keep something a secret, don't give Lego the liscence.

Oh indeed my good man, and fairly sure we will. I did quite enjoy Extremis at the time, and he doesn't look bad considering (A) its a 'cute' Lego version and (B ) I can basically only see his head.
  6. I, too, think the robe and hands on Mandarin are pretty cool looking, and may try to get them on the comic version (not going to fit with the hair though, right?). I do quite like the bronzey Iron Man as well, but definitely leaving the rest.

Thats a few quid saved for Xenomorphs, amiright?

  7. Got mine this morning, and they're all pretty great looking mates. My favourite might well be Hulk, but unfortunately mine has 2 left thigh pieces, so looks a little weird. I don't suppose anyone got a Hulk with 2 right thigh pieces, or got two sets to make Banner as well? Either way, we should enter negotiations, if you know what I mean.
