Doctor Who Minimates get yet another nail in their coffin.

Walking Dead Minimates are surely a no-brainer (unintended pun) ? If I were DST I'd just bring out a Zombie Box Set of any description. The Marvel Zombies set were released in huge numbers yet still sell well whenever they hit ebay ,Luke's were very well received so what's the problem?

Max Zombies?

Where would you sell them? Minimates are popular with TRU, but they're positioned as a kid's toy. Zombies do not make a kid-friendly license. Comic book / specialty stores? They only got Minimates in there because of the licenses they represent, not because of the toy. It could be a tough sell to convince store owners to take a chance on unlicensed Minimate zombie...

Minimates a kid toy at tru? I think not. My TRU stock all the minimates including the MAX line in the adult collector aisle. In fact the max mates were between Dexter figures and family guy stuff.

Not happy with the price but Thor makes it worth while. Here's hopping to the next set being new figures.

Glad to see these are exactly the same and an easy pass.

Thanks Luke. The seeds for this story were planted way back in issue 26. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised by some of the twists coming up but this is going exactly where you think it is.

Great review and pics. I saw this set the other day and stupidly passed it up figuring I already have the first SHS Deadpool and didn't need another one, but now seeing these great detailed pics I regret not picking it up!

Just a head 's up I was able to finish my Hall of Heroes set from TJ Maxx who now has them at only 5.99 a piece. I heard some Marshalls have them too. Happy Hunting.

any idea when these will be popping up? from the NYCC pics, there little display card said November '10... i've been checking back here to see if anyone has spotted them yet, but so far i'm guess not? i'm really excited to add Magik and Warlocke to my New Mutants set! and Cannonball and Shatterstar to X-Force.

I checked my TRU last week and keep checking the web daily.

I get the feeling we'll see these around Black Friday. I hope not as I really don't want to have to go to TRU on that Friday.

Just wanted to remind everyone to check out this week's issue as this will lead to a major storyline starting in 2011.
