Does anyone have any decals like for a tux or wedding dress? Sand serif's skin tone doesn't match well with other mates.

My fiance and I will be tying the knot in just a few weeks on August 24 and I think nothing would be cooler than bride and groom minimates that look like us on top of our cake. Now I've only collected DC and Marvel mates and I don't remember anything resembling a bride and groom. Are there any civilian characters from other lines that I can make some quick bride and groom customs with?

For display purposes, getting that bonus figure kinda coerces you into getting a second set. I don't mind getting two sets in cases like New Mutants where you can mix parts to get powered-down versions of a couple characters but in a case like this, if you don't have a blank Minimate body to put into tha armor, you're displaying one figure OR the other.

I get it but it doesn't bug me in this circumstance since I'm only displaying comic-based designs and repurposing the armor. Plus after ten years of collecting these things, I've got plenty of spare parts around anyway.

Maybe DST should finally get into the blank Minimate business. We're getting stands sooo...

I'm pretty excited for this set actually. That cablepool is sweet. I'm not really sold on the 5th figure idea though.

Sorry dude, missed your query. It is a Shopko Venom, but in what I assume was test packaging. It was given to me by a good mate, and friend of this forum. It's one of my favourite pieces.

Dude, seriously? That's every single Marvel and DC 'mate in the one cabinet? That is insane! And insanely cool. Nice one!

That is all of them. I'm surprised they all fit actually. My previous setup was just random different shelves all over my old bedroom. It's nice to have them all in one place and organized.

I'd accept squirel girl (sorry but i hate this character, she's supossed to be a female and less crazy deapool but she's just an awful character. I mean, she took down doom with squirels and "defeated" thanos and a bucnch of other cosmic characters? give me a break) if i get the new avengers (NOW! version), uncanny x-men or uncanny x-force or some more spidey and x-men villains.

I'd accept Squirrel Girl if we could get Mockingbird. Actually, as much as I despise Squirrel Girl, I do hope that they make a Minimate of her. I personally hate her, but a lot of guys here disagree, so it'd be cool for them if DST made a Squirrel Girl.

I don't much care for her either. I just think she'd make a neat looking minimate.

The Marvel v.Capcom line epitomises what I had to get to get what I really wanted......namely & especially Dormammu & Modok plus the other Marvel characters .

Got the Gamer Tony set today. I think the inner tray still had some mold release oil on it....ok, not some...a lot Tony was soaked in the oil

Both stands were pretty drenched too

But it's ok, after a quick wipe down, Tony was back to playing games in no time

Since Stan Lee appears in a lot of Marvel Movies, could there possibly be a TTA type box set with 4 different Stan Lee minimates from each of the movies? Of course, there would need to be 4 licenses that DST needs at the same time and they'd all have to be friendly with each other...

Believe me, sometimes I step back and realize I'm hung up on the perhaps poorly chosen words of a dedicated Minimates fan, and realize I should have let it go three posts ago. I apologize, smackman. The garbage line REALLY irked me, but I really shouldn't have even acknowledged it.

And yes, I absolutely do love my minimates. It is the only collection I've kept up with this long. I stopped buying comics,(and everything else I collected) just so I could focus on minimates.

Being a completist collector I suppose I get jaded from time to time when one or two stand out that just aren't as great.

Or just use a hair dryer. Honestly boiling is overkill with something this small sometimes.

I was able to work it out with a small screwdriver without boiling or freezing it. Took few minutes, but it did work. Thanks!

Yep. Try freezing it and/or boiling it, and then use a screwdriver to work the ball out of the socket. It's pretty easy.

Thanks, I'll try that tonight. Maybe freezing it would work better? I don't want the paint to come off the bottom half if I boil it.

My mephisto's leg just broke the ball joint and now the ball is stuck inside the leg. Any ideas on how to get the ball out of the leg socket without ruining it?

I cancelled all my preorders with AFX and decided to go with Luke's Toy store instead, as he seems pretty good on prices.

Did you ever get any answers from AFX as to why your orders weren't shipping?

I tried numerous times to get through to them over the phone, but to no avail. I decided to just send them an email telling them to cancel all of my orders, so they sent me conformation emails for each of my cancelled orders.
