During SDCC 2009 my wife brought along her Starbuck minimate and took a ton of pictures calling it the "Many Adventures of Starbuck". We met several cast members from Battlestar Galactica and my wife got Michael Hogan, Edward James Olmos, Nicki Clyne (Cally) and Bear McCrery (does the music for BSG) to take their pictures with the Starbuck minimate. Figured I would share since there was that pic of Lou Ferigno.

Just realized looking at those pics that a hand was missing from Starbuck in the top two pics! Wierd since the hand wasn't lost, must have been loose and my wife probably had it in her pocket.

Oh man I want to see more!!!! Super excited about this!

Not a big Hulk fan but that thing is amazing!

I think it looks cool! I can't wait to start to see some of the new product they showed at Toy Fair. Ninja Turtles were some of my favorite childhood toys, the Classics line should be awesome.

I am always longing for other characters from those cards! I especially would love to get a Syrin.

So when I was younger I didn't get a lot of comic books but I did collect trading cards. That (and the 90s X-men cartoon and my Secret Wars Iron Man figure) is where my love for Marvel comes from. I still have some of my complete trading card sets and so I am always excited when the minimates that are released are the same version from some of my favorite card sets. The other day I was reading the Excalibur comic you see in the picture below and decided to take a picture with my minimates and so I did a few others with the team group shots from some of my trading cards and figured I would share.

Definitely going to vote IM, Scarlet Witch, Protector, and . . . . . .one of the others. Looks like the others are Phoenix force but we are getting them in the other box set so I don't really care which other one we get.

Has AFX given a date for their reveal?

That Soundwave is one of the most amazing things in all of ever! I must have that the second it becomes available!

I loved the movie! Especially David, what a great performance. Great visuals, story really made me think, and had the classic Alien feel to it that I so love!

Normally Mondays are not my TRU day but a little yellow spikey halo thing appeared around my head as my toy senses went off and so I went up to my store in Orem and there they were two full boxes of wave 13! I think this is the first time that I have bought every pack in a TRU wave! This is a great wave!

Definitely looking forward to this. The trailer was great. Love Tarantino movies!

MP-13 SOUNDWAVE! Was seriously considering breaking the bank on that upcoming third party version, hope the official one turns out even better.

My Transformers obsessed friend (where I get most of my TF news) told me today about that Soundwave and I jumped for joy (literally, sad but true)!

Just watched the prelude Beck's Beginning for this on Youtube and LOVED IT! Can't wait for the rest of the series!! I love the lightcopter and simply everything about this!

My wife went to my local Disney store in Orem, UT this morning and asked an employee that she knows 9from buying vinylmations) if they had the sets (since they weren't on the floor) The employee gladly went in the back and came back with the Grim Reaper set. My wife asked if they had the Kang set and she went back to check again and said they didn't. So got the Grim Reaper set. On my wife's way home she got a text message from the employee that she knows that she found the box in the back with the Kang sets and that they will put one aside for me when I can go pick it up on Monday. So very helpful and nice and so glad that I won't have to order these online and pay shipping! Love the Reaper set, Hawkeye's quiver and Thor's whirly hand are great!

Can't wait to see the cantidates!

I called my TRU today and they said they had 12 minimate packs on the floor so I head on over and all they have on the peg are 3 Captain America sets and 3 Loki sets. I don't know if they misplaced the rest of the case or what but I was so mad to not be able to get the set that I really wanted. Hopefully the rest of the case will show up magically in the next day or two!

I loved it beyond all of my expectations. The humor, action, just plain everything. Thank you Joss Whedon!

Is the Loki set with Nick Fury or is it an Alien General?

I was so exceited to see that Matty announced exclusives becuase I collect MOTUC. Then I saw the name and thought hmmmm well I don't know who Vykron is. Then I saw the pictures and didn't care who he is because that is utter ridiculousness. I love that line but I guess I can be happy I don't have to fork over and extra 40 bucks in August to get that on their website.
