That version of Storm appeared in the first comic I ever owned, so I must have her! If this works out, DST has earned my eternal (kinda) gratitude.

No, I like this wave. I finally got the packs in my area, so I picked up Gambit and Deadpool. To my surprise, I like WWII Wolverine the best out of the 4 figures. Deadpool looks pretty neat, and Gambit is decent. The damaged Wolverine is just uninteresting to me, I guess.

If these really are the last of the 'mates for this movie, then I really regret the lack of Stryker and Wraith. Maybe we'll see a boxset with those 2 later on? Aw, who am I kidding? This movie won't inspire as many releases as Iron Man did. Too bad though.

Loki, THor, Rachel, and the Sentinel all look good, but I'll pass o nthose guys since I concentrate on Spider-man and his cast.

That said, I hate Menace and Anti-Venom. The Menace 'mate looks good, but Eddie needs to lose the powerhouse chest, since he's a skinny guy now. I'll have to wait and see before I purchase the pack.

I really hope that we're getting Tigra and Constrictor. That would be a definite purchase for me!

Yay, classic Chen Lu! I wish that DST had included lower legs and the skirt for him in the boxset. If they had, I would have purchased two sets.

Neither of my Venom miniates has a hole in its head. Maybe the one with the hole is less common?

Okay. I'm going to ignite a fire bomb here by saying that I agree with DST that these are unpopular, unrecognizable characters when it comes to mass market. I make this statement for one reason only. I was at a TRU that had 2 waves in. They had 3 packs left. A Cap/Aim, and 2 BE/MS packs. That's right, two. Sitting on the pegs. In plain view. I saw a kid walking away with an Ironman 2 pack as I entered the store, so I KNOW kids are buying these.

Sorry folks. Hate me if you will, but I have first hand experience that says DST made the right call on this one.

I would suggest that one instnce of 2 of these packs unpurchased does not outweeigh the number of stories of theser packs being purchased and near-impossible to find. If more stories like this continue, then I'll come around.

Due to my lack of careful reading, I have voted for Original Angel as the variant. However, I want original Angel as the regular figure.

I like every figure from these two sets except for Daken. He looks pretty crappy. Now I have to decide whether or not I have $40 to spend on these guys...

Defintely make FA Angel the regular and blue costumed Angel the variant, imo. People will need the original Angel to complete their boxsets, but some folks who have the champions boxset may not feel the need for the blue Angel, reducing the demand for that particular chase.

Tropic Thunder 'mates. I'd love a pack with Stiller, Downey, Black, and Cruise. Nick Nolte and the specila effects guy from the film would be nice too.

I just ordered this set, and I can't wait! My only gripes after seeing the pics in this thread are the lack of alternate legs for Radioactive Man to complete his classic look, and that Penance seems too bulky. Osborn looks perfect, and Chen Lu ain't too far behind him. I'm looking forward to placing these 4 nex to Moonstone and Bullseye on my shelf.

Well I'm going to throw in my two cents and say that the 2-pack leaves me much happier. I still want punk Storm, but seeing that we got Molecule Man and Spider-Woman is great.

By the way, I'm only really interested in Spider-Woman, so if someone just wants the new Molecule Man, we can go halfsies on this pack when it eventually hits stores.

Because Swordsman would be one of two characters required to finish out the Thunderbolts team, so he's an example of team building. Hopefully this means we'll get him with Songbird soon. I really want to see Ellis' THunderbolts roster finished.

After much hard work and forced patience, I now have Bullseye and Moonstone. I talked to one of the employees at my local TRU to find out when the next delivery of Marvel products would arrive, and I ran to the store as quickly as possible when I got out of work. When I got there, I thought I had missed the Bullseye/Moonstone pack; to my surprise and excitement, I found that the pack had been hidden behind some of the Wolverine Origins toys along with a Ghostbusters 'mates pack (Winston and demon dog).

I have to say, I love the 'mates, and I can't wait to get the T-Bolts set to expand my Thunderbolts lineup.

Well, I stopped by TRU today since I couldn't make it on either Friday or Saturday, and I've now missed the second Bullseye/Moonstone pack at this TRU. This is the most frustrating hunt ever, and DST has handled this wave very poorly. If I cannot get the 2-pack at a reasonable price, I'll be passing on the Thunderbolts boxset and both Dark Avengers sets.

I'm all for a Songbird/Swordsman 2-pack to finish out Ellis' Thunderbolts before we get into the other variations of the team. After that, I want Zemo, Mach IV, Atlas, and Fixer. If we get others beyond that (Jolt, Blizzard, Speed Demon, etc.), that would just be icing on the cake.

I want the Irredeemable Ant-Man in general, not just due to his Thunderbolt status. His miniseries and his appearances in Avengers: Initiative were great!

Wizard World Philadelphia pretty much confirmed that there's gonna be a follow-up Wolverine movie boxset, and that so far the only locks on it are Gambit and Wraith. The last two spots are now up for grabs, though DST would be daft not to squeeze another Wolverine and Weapon XI in there somewhere.

I'd personally be open to any comic-based boxset, on the condition that it doesn't go crazy with the ad infinatum unnecessary variants.

Wow, great news! I hope Stryker sneaks his way into that set along with Weapon XI. We don't really need another Wolverine since they've covered most of the costumes from the film. What's left, naked Hugh?

Weapon XI would definitely be a good choice. Gotta have him for the 3 Mile Island showdown at the end of the film, after all. I wonder if DST would reuse the T-1000 spike hand for him?

I picked up the Wolverine 'mates yesterday, and I found that I had missed the new TRU 'mates by just a bit. The Wolvie/Sabertooth pack and the armored Spidey/Venom pack were still there. I'll have to try again and hope I can find the Bullseye/Moonstone pack.

Having seen the Wolverine film not too long ago, I'd like to see two 4-packs to wrap up the rest of the main characters.

I figure that Cyclops, Gambit, Emma, and Deadpool have enough name recognition to carry the second boxset. Having Wolverine in the other boxset helps carry folks like Stryker (a civilian 'mate) and Bradley.

And to think that we complained about the lack of Ares and Moonstone/Marvel. Looks like DST had everything taken care of the whole time.

I can't wait to get both Dark Avengers sets, the Thunderbolts box set, and the Moonstone/Bullseye 2-pack. This is great!
