I picked up Janine/Slimer with my 20% off coupon today. I love the new cables. I'm a little worried about them falling off, but it slipped back on easily enough and has stayed on.

I would probably re-buy the movie GB with removable packs like this.

they've said on Facebook Ecto-1 in all incarnations can not be done

Ya, I was the one that asked. Not the answer I was hoping to hear!

I wonder what the deal is. Mattel said they aren't doing an Ecto-1 because it would be too expensive, not because they are forbidden to do so.

DST said they couldn't make the movie Ecto-1, this is pure speculation on my part, but I hope that those restrictions don't cover the fictional RGB Ecto-1 design.

I had a free $20 from LivingSocial's deal yesterday, so after shipping it only cost me about a dollar! Woot!

Yah know, I was watching the cartoon the other day, and the equipment was really black with blue highlights...

I've heard this before, but I still think of the packs as blue. Even Mattel ended up making their RGB packs blue, but they seem to be basing everything off the Kenner toys, so that's probably not the strongest argument for them being blue.

I hope they make the proton pack blue! I'm sure they will fix that. I would prefer a new sculpt for the gun, since it looked different.

I found a "Mini-Time Machine" (are they not allowed to say Delorean?) at a less traveled TRU today. The pegs were full of the other sets, but there was a lone BTTF set in the overhead bin.

It's pretty neat and good value at $12, but I think the car itself becomes less recognizable due to the shortened length. The Delorean is lean, not pudgy, but I guess that's the theme.

Some of the stickers are impossible to apply! I lost the center console sticker while trying to stick it inside the car. I still haven't found it again. You need someone familiar with building ships in bottles to help you with these stickers.

You've actually got that all backwards. People not being able to find your toys is never a good thing for a company. DST would much rather new buyers be able to find these sets on TRU shelves than be forced to covet them from a far on eBay. It does no one (except the seller) any good to have unobtainable figures.

Until RGB kicks in, we are becoming more and more limited in what we can see from this line, so now is a great time to release some older sets that the newer fans can scoop up to fill in those holes in their collections. Never mistake the secondary market's interest in a line with the general public's. The secondary market is just that, secondary.

This line has been handled beautifully from the start.

Just to be clear, sp you aren't eventually disappointed, the traps are sculpted in a permanent open position. They don't close.

The new TRU sets are out! Am I the first to find them?

Which TRU and where? Do you know the case break down? How many were put on the pegs?

The only set not on the peg was Courtroom Egon, but luckily I found the pallet with the opened box and snagged one. I think they're each 2 per case, but there might have been a third Vigo set.
