  1. Yep, finally got my Starbuck on Friday... It's a wonderfully, beautiful figure in real life... The metallic fligh suit was a really nice surprise, and the detailing on it is superb. Can't wait to see the rest of the line.

Sharon is great T! I've been seeing that for awhile now, and didn't realize it was a custom. Great work, brother.

  2. I went into Ghost Rider with very low expectations, and was pleasently surprised... I actually enjoyed it. Sure, it's campy and Cage is way over the top, but it's a flaming skull on a flaming motorcycle... What else could it be?

I think that Nic had to be the way that he was, just weird and crazy, because when the normies (Non-Comic folk) see Ghost Rider, it's not too big of a shock....

I'll agree that the Director Cut of DareDevil is far superior to the original. It's almost a good movie with the D.C.... Can't wait to see the GR D.C.

  3. Opps! I realized that the pictures don't really show the stand that I made for The Great Machine... You only get a hint of it in the "hero shot", and it looks like he's pooping white stuff...

Here's a shot of the figure on the stand. You can see the flaming exhaust that I sculpted for it. I'm really happy with it. It's the best flame I've ever done...

BTW: Thanks Webhead. I'm really happy with the way he turned out...

  4. Well, at least one of those WIP's is done. Great Machine can now be seen in the first post, or right here at:

This figure was a blast to do. I was originally going to hold off and do him for my 100th figure (Mayor Mitchel Hundred... Get It?) but came up with a better idea for that figure...

Nervous, the pouches and straps for The Great Machine are cut from various thicknesses of sheet plastic, and the belt is a cast of a blank belt I made along time ago.

I've gotten the primer in, so I'm hoping to finish up at least one Onslaught by this weekend. I've still got one slot left on the edition size for Onslaught. If anyone is interested, hit me with a PM...

  5. Alright...

I stopped by Wal-Mart last night to get the wife a V-Day card, and there they were.

Firefly (Cobra version), Hi-Tech (with the backpack-thingy) and Shipwreck were waiting for me on the shelves. Surprised the hell out of me, too. Most of the Wal-Marts around here have stopped selling the Soldier figures, but this one had them. I was so excited. But, also, kinda saddened because they didn't have Wet-Suit, and I really wanted him...

Hi-Tech is kinda ho-hum, but Firefly and Shipwreck are awesome! I haven't had a chance to open them up yet, but will tonight. Ship's bulky. He looks great in reallife. Firefly just looks menacing as all hell, too...

Gonna make my rounds tonight to see if I can find a Wet-Suit.

  6. Is it just me, or is anyone else a little overloaded right now? With all of the information coming out of Toyfair this past week, it seems our "little" hobby has gotten alot bigger. I'm still trying to digest all of the new stuff coming out, which I'm grateful for it all, but.... Damn! There's a ton of new shit coming out... It's all just a little overwhelming... or is it just me?
