My question:

What was the thinking in the Galactica Series 1 Line-up? Why no Adama in series 1? I'm sure lots of people would rather see the old man instead of Caine. I'm sure that you're trying to save some of the major characters for the later waves, but Series 1 is just kind of "ho-hum", line-up wise.

Don't worry, I've ordered these no matter what, just wanted to see what the thinking was.

I used Krylon Fusion. They make a Satin Grey that works really nicely for lighter colors, and a Satin Black that is good for anything else. Make sure it's the Fusion brand, though. It's made for plastics, whereas the other stuff isn't. Enamel will not cure on the softer plastic (Upper arms, legs, heads, hands...)

That's real shiny.

I really rate the customs in She-Things minimate collection. Especially the Ultimate Beast.

I never have and that's why I don't often order from them anymore.

I don't order because of the hugemongous shipping fees... If they could get those down a bit, I'd pick up more stuff from them.

Way I look at it, I can generally get a case of 'mates from the LCS for about $80 and have some spares, or order a set on-line for around $20 and try to track down a variant of the ole eBay and then pay shipping on top of all of that...

They could make a zombie Howard the Duck tie-in and I'd totally be there.

As far as MZvA goes, at first I was "meh". Then I was "eh". Upon seeing that cover, now I'm all, like "Whell". Same the covers are by a different dude.

I never really dug any of the other AoD comics. I just couldn't get past the cartoony artwork. As much as I love ol' Brucey (My pet name for him - He called me a "freak" once) I never bothered to pick up any of the comics past the third issue of the first series.

Having said that:

Goldeneye Famke all the way... I wouldn't mind getting crushed to death if it was between those thighs...

I like phasing Kitty. If you like yours non-phasing, this is an easy fix.

I agree she has kinda of grown on me too!

Sure enough... I never pass up cheap Minimates. Never! $3.00 for a 2-pack is heaven for me, but $3.74 for four... Damn!

Good luck on your project. It's pretty ambitious. It took me a year to make 35 Minis for commissions... 64 figures? No thank you.

Hands down my favorite, non-Minimate line... Either 8" or 2.5", I couldn't care less. Each of the lines are awesome in themselves.

If you're looking for awesome, highly possable, huge action figures, go with the 8" Lt. Stone or the first Snake-eyes. Firefly is an awesome figure too.

On the 2.5" side of things, they're some of the best vehicles out there. I'm enjoying these more than I did the 3.75" rides when i was a kid. The Dragonhawk is awesome! Plus, Target's got it for like $20 now. The Hiss Tank is cool as hell too... So's the Night Ops Vamp.

I got the variant for the first Buffy PalZ series from AFX... I was shocked...

Though, it did take me forever to find the regular, non-variant figure on eBay because I didn't want to spend a small fortune on a non-variant...

They all look great. The more you do, the better you get. I really, really like Goliath and Stilt-man, though. Keep it up!

Yeah... you're right. That's what I get for glazing over an article.

Lilly did used to work for Palisades... I'm unsure how they can use the same body, maybe he bought up the rights to it.... It looks like CMZ is making the Freakables that Palisades was going to make. This is an odd company. I'd definately pick up the Kockblockers, though... I did like the PalZ body. Second best block figure ever.
