My girlfriend said a small package turned up for me today, so i presumed it was the guns... but alas, it was just a random minimate i got from ebay.

The guy i got my guns from is Brickarms authorized dealer for the UK, i went with him so i could get the Axe, Katana and Chainsaw parts too, also i'm from the UK so i guessed shipping would be cheaper.

Regarding the posting of pictures of the guns with minimates... it'll have to wait.

I’m planning to use these (below) for a custom chainsaw for my custom Army of Darkness Ash.

I’m really busy with work at the moment and wont get home for a few hours, but if anyone is desperate to see these on a minimate, let me know in this thread and I’ll do my best to get a few picture posted soon.

Please bear in mind, if the handles need to be shaved down... i wont have time to do that now, but i might be able to widen a minimate hand to hold them. It should still give the impression of what they'll all look like.

Not intending on selling often, that was all i had.

But when i end up with unwanted mates or doubles, i'll put them on eBay.

Wish they sold singles, i wouldn't have to waist money buying a 2 pack for 1 minimate, but atleast i got something for them, hopefully sorted a few MM fans out too.

Like MiniFiend UK, i've always used the Worlds Apart or Forbidden Planet in Liverpool, but i'm living in London at the moment so there's a lots of places to get Minimates from.

But if you can't find Minimates near where you live... try this. It's a comic shop in Croydon called A Place in Space, who stock Minimates and who are really helpfull people. They also sell a lot on eBay, so if you got desperate, give them a call... i'm sure they'd be willing to pull them off the shelves and post them out, kinda like treating it as if they'd sold it on eBay.

Sorry, bit of a cheap plug here... I've got a bunch of single Minimates on eBay at the moment. £1.50 P&P for as many as you buy.

Just got this news from our friend Pat at Action Figure Express. The Civil War Minimates Box Set is an AFX exclusive that will be offered for the first time at New York Comic Con. After the con, they will be available at shopafx.com. The set is limited to only 2000 sets worldwide, but some stock will be held back for website orders. Also, several sets will be given away here at the Multiverse, so stay tuned.

Only 2000, Sigh...

Thanks, but i was crap when i first started.

I just use a very small brush and take my time, a bit of practice and anyone can pull it off.

But i must admit, i think i've reached my limit for detail now.

Excellent customs again... really like the extra work you put into MZ: Black Panthers robot limbs too.

And amazing details on Colossus, although i'd love to see him next to a 2" minimate for a bit of scale reference.
