Anyone know why the hell Marvel did that? It doesn't make much sense really. Just more time for pirated copies to get to the U.S. Thus decreasing ticket sales.

The idea that stockholders will be more pleased if a movie opens up and is already profitable by the time that the US opens.

Its stupid, though, since ticket purchase estimates put this movie at making most of its budget back in the US alone on opening weekend, so thats a wash.

Honestly its because Disney and Marvel hate the US.

So that's why they keep blowing us up in their movies.

Considering that there are 5 2-packs there and we know that both 64 and 65 are comic themed, it's safe to say that we're getting at least one more SW wave. Plus, there's going to be a 10-char set at SDCC, so that might be SW themed as well.

Hope it's Spider-Verse, this is a one and only chance for a few of those characters to get made, such as Spider-Punk and Spider-UK.

Not so expensive to produce based on current tools and big potential to sell through as it's Spiderman.

There's still plenty of time to jump on the Secret Wars bandwagon later in the year.

Personally, I'm happy to include the animated line as part of the comic line.

Apart from a few exceptions, it looks to be a way to market comic versions at a much wider audience.

The only difference is the label on the box. Smart DST!
