  1. Man, I just love this thing with Toys R Us. We are getting so many cool minimates as of lately. Of course, one would need to find them first, but nonetheless it is awesome. And keep the Iron Man minis coming. Who here wants the Iron Man villain Beetle. I Do. The only ones i don't really think i'll get would be the old man logan and Hawkeye. Just not my cup o tea.

  2. I like the Doc Ock. I fixed my earlier one with the LEGO tentacles from the Movie Doc Ock. It looks decent. I'll be happy with the Vulture, but its getting a bit overwhelming with all these Spidey Mates. Horray for the villians but how many more Spideys can there be left to do?

  3. I say, keep going with the army building. Its one of the best ideas that Art Asylum has had in years. All though, in honesty, there is not much else out there. At least nothing major left to do in Army building terms. But then again, I am not as well versed in the odd not so popular characters in the Marvel Universe. :P

  4. Just like most people in this post I can agree on the fact that I never spent that much money on minimates or even on my other hobby of 1/6th scale figures. But if I did have money I'd probably be running around with a 1/6th scale Batmobile from Hot Toys. Great news that you completed your minimate collection. And I wouldn't open them either. Earlier in this post, it was mentioned that some don't have the Santa Spidey. Who here has one and how much did you get it for? If no one minds me asking of course.

  5. If there is gonna be a one per case set, either one of those Toys R Us exclusives would be a pretty hard hit to those of us who are completists or just plain fans of those particular mates. As of right now, I've been pretty fortunate to be able to buy minimates here in the Laredo area. The Toys R Us seems to receive them, albeit a little later than one would like, and to this date all of the minis that were supposed to come, came whether it be one case or many of that particular series. Everyone keep their fingers crossed on this one.

  6. Man this is killing my wallet. Also i recieved an email saying that the boxed set with Ares is ready to ship, but i think that i'm gonna save it until some other stuff comes out from my pile of loot. Great stuff though. Question, who else loves Ultimate Iron Man? I do. Also they should make even more armors!!!!!

  7. Great Stuff. Those SHEILD Agents will make great cannon fodder. Hope some of these will make it to Toys R Us somehow. Wouldn't mind more agents. Add another Iron Man armor to the collection. Can't wait for these to come out. Hulk still bugs me though. His head just looks weird.

  8. I too am not too thrilled about this set. Doc Doom looks a little funky by today's standards, but I understand that is how he looked in the comics at the time. The whole set looks really dated IMHO. But then again, at some point I will pick it up. Call me weird but minimates are part of my life.

  9. Finally my prayers have been answered. Titanium Man!!! Captain Marvel!!! And lets not forget my personal favorite, Iron Man!!! Now all we need is a Genis-vel. Great Lineup by the way. Minimates sure have gone a long way from the first boxed sets at my local Toys R Us to all this.

  10. I too like the older ones better. They embody the whole minimate ideals. They were facsimiles of what the other toy lines were making. Like the Marvel Legends of that time. The whole thing was great in the beginning because they were mini versions that somewhat looked like the bigger counterparts. it had a minimalists thing going on. Too much detail can ruin the minimate and too little can make it, not good.

  11. I pre-ordered it myself. I like the bundle they put together. One question though. When is the DARK AVENGERS set with Iron Patriot coming out and where? I've been hearing alot of chatter on where its coming out.
