AA seems to be doing a lot of retro stuff recently, any chance you think of a Knight Rider set? I don't want a whole wave, but a Michael Knight minimate with a K.I.T.T. vehicle would be lots of fun!

Bearded THor is not Thunderstrike... at least I don't think so (even though Thunderstrike does, indeed, have a beard).

Of course it's Thunderstrike, why they chose not to name him properly is beyond me but I'm not calling him 'bearded Thor'...

Edit: actually it's probably because they didn't want to make the Thunderstrike mace so they had to call him Bearded Thor or the fans would lose their minds.

For some reason I was under the impression that this was the "King Thor" version from after Odin died and Thor took his fathers place. Doesn't thunderstrike have like a long pony tail and dress a little more like Ultimate Thor with a brown jacket? (Why did so many 90's characters have brown jackets??? lol)

A question for those of you buying these & haven't read the books they're based on: why are you buying them? Is it because they're zombie-fied versions of the characters? Is it because they're minimates and you must feed your addiction? Or, is it something else entirely? Just curious is all.

I was wondering the same thing. I mean, if you've read the series, there really CANNOT be any gripes at all about the extra spidey/wolvie variant now floating around in circulation, because they are two of the main characters. I really need an ash to make him fight my zombies =) and maybe some marvel WEREWOLVES!

When I ordered mine from AFX, I ordered the zombie 5-pack, the daredevil and giant-man 2-pack, the black panther and iron man 2-pack, AND the USA Agent and Taskmaster 2-pack all at once. The USA Agent and Taskmaster one doesn't come out til december... does that mean they won't ship any of this stuff until then????

Damnit, I'm going to start complaining if these don't show up in the mail soon...

Any idea when these ship from AFX? I ordered this set, plus the Iron Man & black panther, and Giant-Man and Daredevil figures as well... I hope it doesn't take too long I was tempted to pick up the five pack in the store, even though I have one on the way...

Which makes me wonder if we're getting waves 21, 22, and 23 in 2008... I'm happy with all this at once, but I don't want 2008 to be a barren year.

I just don't see what the big deal is.

I don't get why so many people hate the phasing Kitty so much, I think it's one of the cooler figures. Same with the upcoming Ditko Spider-Man.. everyone's complaining, but I think it's actually one of the cooler Spider-man ones we've had, especially next to Mysterio

But I digress...

So I just switched out Thor's face/head for the Sentry's and it looks infinitely better! I dunno why they made such a goofy, small face for it...

I think I mentioned it already, but I would have loved a slightly transparent "Ion" Wonder Man, and preferably with the kind of stand that Human Torch had, the same kind of purple transparency as the character itself with red dots.. That would just be an awesome display.
