Lol, hey, I've been looking for a complete Ares since that wave was live in stores! I have a few pieces, but wasn't able to finish him. T_T
And why do you think I want a Ronan?
I hear you, I'm starting to lose my geek cred. I still haven't seen GotG and who knows when I will? I'm heading to Disneyland tomorrow for a week and by the time I get back it probaby won't be in theaters anymore Those are some nice figures minijames. I kind of skipped over the Puck wave, although I loved the old Alpha Flight series from the 80's.That Archangel is nice. Too bad they didn't do a unmasked head too. I've seen some nice customs of Warren though.
Might still be playing in the Captain E-O theater in the park; plus the theater at Downtown Disney. If you can make the time.

I still prefer the 1st Classic and Black Costume Spidey's.
But I'm old.

"Mad About You"?! Ugh, terrible TV, but little escapes that classification in "modern" times, IMO.
Early "Mad About You" was actually pretty fun.

Thanks everyone - these were a lot of fun to make!
By the way, each kit will have 2 sets of the stickers, in case you make a mistake with one of the stickers in the first set.
Forgive my ignorance, but how are the stickers applied? Are they the normal peel and stick type, or do I have to soak them in water, slide them off the sheet, and apply? are they pre-cut? etc
Thanks!

In an effort not to repeat what everyone else has already said (which I could easily do), I will simply say:
thank you for coming here to tell me you are happy to take my money.

Can you post a pic please?

I think this will be a case of being disgruntled with Paizo, and not DST.

Worst thing is, that every 2-pack has one "character" and one army builder. So if you want to make an army of, say, Cultists and Ghouls for your Marvel Hell display, you can't.
Worst thing is, that every 2-pack has one character and one "army builder." So if you want to get all of the characters, you probably can't, because you'll have to fight all of the people who want to army build Cultists and Ghouls for their Marvel Hell display for a limited supply of leftovers on the website.

Goddamnit, I want all of them. *sigh*
Yeah those are pretty sweet looking.
Too bad about the exclusivity of AN ENTIRE WAVE though. Hopefully their website can handle lots of traffic.

I'm going to guess with "Original Thunderbolts"
Do they count as villians? Heroes? BOTH?!?!?! With switchable parts!

The first set arguably had the most popular 'Cats in it. So people who loved Lion-O were done.
Another reason could be that people bought the first set, then decided they didn't really care for minimates.
Or the price for a full set wasn't worth getting the mates they wanted.
Hey, the first set also had QC problems, so people may have bought another set hoping for a fix.
Myself, I bought the first set because I love the idea of Thundercats and most of the designs, but I was never really into the show as a kid. I totally skipped the bad guy set because, well, to me the characters were 'meh' 'cause I don't have the affection for the source material. I would like a Tigra and Cheetara, but have no interest in the kid cats. So, I'm skipping that set because the price is too high for 2 mates.

And sorry we make Marvel movie Minimates, I guess? We've been making them for years, and we do it because they sell better than most comic assortments, but also because we want to. They've helped keep the line going, and gain a better foothold, for sure. But there are clearly fans that enjoy them, and so do we. I realize this year is a heavy movie year, but I think this well have less in the future.
Don't apologize for running a successful toy line, and making decisions that keep it that way.

Found it! Characters are definitely based on the comic, here's a preview: http://www.comicbookresources.com/?page=preview&id=21711
Valeros, Fighter/Mercenary
Merisiel, Elf Rogue
-
There is also a comic book based on the game.
If anyone has read it, are these characters from the comic?

Two-Face may have trouble standing on his own....
Can't wait to see pictures of these in action poses.

I can come back with a Top 5, but the Wave 2 Spider-Men (red/blue & black) are perfection.
Wholeheartedly agree with this

I haven't seen this answered: to my eye, the turtles are all the same size. Any variations you may think you see are due to camera lens perspective.
I will say that I was expected sculpted heads, but after a long and lustful viewing in the booth, the cylindrical heads work just fine. DST's challenge will be making the other animal characters blend with this aesthetic.
From the pictures they look like they have had a few too many beers with their pizza. In person do they look like they have beer bellies? thx
