I can see where they are saying no retail support because of the 3 comic book stores around where I had lived one quit selling minimates due to the Street Fighter mates, one begged me to buy them, and the other had them severely discounted. I liked them, not for sure what the problem was with them.

I just downloaded it. I'll watch it tonite and see if the dvd is worth buying. I really didn't like the preview I saw for it, but i will give it a chance.

I still love the Cap with the removable cowl. It just looked cool to se something like that in such a little plastic body. That Cap just looks awesome. How many were there. Three right? The normal one, the beat up one and the "modern" one from the New Avengers line. Oh and the Modern Iron Man helmet sucks. The eyes are all wrong.

IMHO only due to them reusing the old Ironman helmet.

I have to apologize for my part in this thread.

Ok folks i'll try and give you much as I can remember but my facts maybe mixed due to the fact I saw this quite a few (ok many, many) years ago. I believe I saw this between 1975 and 1983. Not sure if it was a movie or tv show. I remember a guy being in some kind of outdoor jail/cell and a spaceship that hung (?) off the side of the earth. I think it was forbidden to enter this ship. The show centered around 2 guys and 1 girl. They would float/glide down long corridors. They reached the cockpit and the pilot was dead and had been for awhile. I want to say it was like a giant intergalactic zoo. It's been bugging me for year and more so tonight for some reason. Any information would be helpful so I don't think I was crazy.

I think it's all in the placement of the eyes on the masks. Ever see (even though it's not the same) the packaging for the Spiderman 3 preview pack compared to what the figures actually look like? I remember seeing different versions of Ironman from the Civil War boxset.

After seeing this mate it makes me wish I had the cash to make my own blank/mate. Whatever that may be.
