I've been reading ASM since just before Spider-Island. I trust Dan Slott. I don't necessarily 'like' where the story's gone right now.

But that's ok. I didn't 'like' what Bendis did to Cyclops in Avengers Vs X-Men either.

However, I'm liking a lot what's going on in All New X-Men.

I've a feeling I know how the status quo will return and it'll be something metaphysical in nature seeing as that's how Brand New Day got started in the first place. I reckon we'll have a year of Superior, and then PP'll be back and slinging webs, only with a ruined social life to stitch back together.

I think that Midtown Comics (which is at about 40th and 8th? I think?) is probably the closest. Personally, my favorite shop in NYC is Jim Hanley's Universe, which is right across from the Empire State Building on 34th st (or maybe it's 33rd... look, I'm not from New York, what do you want?).

I bought my first ever minimates in Jim Hanley's Universe. It was the Ultimate X-Men wave (4?)

That shop has a special place in my heart.
