Cheers Kostis,
I have an appalling memory, although I do recall the minions.
You don't think the suit's reminiscent of Miles' suit?
-
Possibly spoiler-riffic. So if you're reading trades look away... NOW!
Has anyone seen an explanation anywhere for why Superior Spidey's suit is slowly morphing into a version of Miles Morales's suit?
I'm sure it's out there somewhere, but Slott's not mentioned it on his twitter feed. Loved seeing the return of the tentacles in last weeks ish.
Had to be done really, didn't it. -
Hope you get things sorted, bud.
-
Excellent stuff, Luke. I saw the Iron-Man stuff on Facebook last night, but I'm loving your other ideas.
-
Fantastic bunch of exclusives. I want em all!
-
Congratulations to the whole BHM family

I think the Flea Market already does booming business in international sales and trades.
A European sub-section may not be a bad idea, though the way royal mail is going I don't know
if it's that much cheaper to send a pack of mates across the UK or to mainland Europe than it is
to ship stuff to and from the States/Canadialand.
I'll float the idea to the rest of the team and see where we go.
Cheers.

Rad, second picture, 3rd shelf down, on the far left. What is that Venom? Looks like a Shopko, but not one I can recall ever seeing.
Sorry dude, missed your query. It is a Shopko Venom, but in what I assume was test packaging. It was given to me by a good mate, and friend of this forum. It's one of my favourite pieces.
There can be only one...
...is what my fiance said. She agreed to let me put my minimates on display in our bedroom if they could fit in one nice cabinet. The problem was finding one big enough to fit every marvel and dc mate . This one worked out just perfectly.
Dude, seriously? That's every single Marvel and DC 'mate in the one cabinet? That is insane! And insanely cool. Nice one!
-
Thanks!
Yeah, I think that looks pretty darn good. Can't say I'd pick it up for full price, but if it's clearanced, I'll be tempted.
If it goes to clearance I'll cry. Most expensive lego set I've ever bought.
-
I love the pop heroes, wish I'd grabbed some Marvel ones too, though. It is a nice collection Rad. It's good to see Funko Pop! love in there also.
-
great collection Rad, I hope those toys don't follow over all the time.
Cheers, a lot of them are plugged into lego bases now. And blu-tac has been my friend for a fair old while, too.

Dude, that's excellent. Nice work.
Hey Earlyfrost. Have a look at my pics in the collections thread. The Hulk breakout set is there. I don't mind it, cos it came with a SHIELD minijet too. But apart from the Daily Bugle set the Marvel Lego doesn't hold a candle to the DC stuff.

How's it look with Minimates? Are they too big?
Arkham? I'd say they'd be out of proportion, I'll post a couple of pics later
-
Fantastic news. Thanks for the updates. I'm really looking forward to these.
-
I spent a few hours building the Arkham Asylum set. Man, that was tedious! Great looking set but the 1st floor window frames are all single stud, plugged into single stud, plugged into double stud, plugged into single stud. And repeat. My hands were like arthritic claws by the time I'd finished. Now it's in my living room taking part in a huge lego mashup of Batman, Alien Conquest, and Iron Man 3. As directed by my boy!
-
Rob, I'm surprised you don't go for the younger women?
BLAMMO!
Straight between the eyes!
-
Yeah, it's small, that's why I'm combining 3 of them (I won my second auction of just the mansion pieces since I posted last).
That's a smart way to get the pieces you're after. Kudos Tenime, Kudos!

Cheers guys. The room is actually tiny. It's about 6' x 81/2'. The long shelves with the Marvel minimates, are 8' long. The other set of shelfs are about 4'. All of my Marvel 'mates used to sit on 5 shelves from the top down of the little shelves. With the DC, BSG and Star Trek on the lowest thin shelf. All of my C3 vehicles were on the big shelf. But I've cooled on those a bit so they're off display now.
Think I might rearrange the top long shelf and get the Marvel Moviemates down so they're better displayed. Might leave that for a bit though
Final part of the 'regeneration' is getting some half height bookcases in that'll take my TPB's and house my Doctor Who collection too.

Happy Birthday, guys.

Allo!
I've been quiet for a while again, due to going through an intensely bad period in my life. That's sort of over now, so I thought I'd share something good with you all.
My All-New All-Different Geek-Cave! I dun a bit of painting an stuff...
Marvel Universe. JLU Unlimited. Batman TAS, Walking Dead Minimates. Ghostbusters Minimates. Videogame Minimates...
Marvel MinimatesMoar Marvel minimates and coming down to everything else. BSG, Star Trek, Halo, and Movie sets.Lego! What's weird is that the vast majority of my Minimates collection used to sit on the smaller shelves where the MU, JLU, and BTAS stuff is now.I thought I'd have loads more space and be able to display loads more figures. Hasn't worked out quite how I wanted, but I'm pleased with the results -
Thanks for the reply, mate

I bequeath my Cartman Cop avatar to your fine self.
Respect Minimadman's Authoritah!
Seriously dude, well done. I know it's something you've wanted for a long long time. Nice one!

Hey mate, wishing you the best of luck with the business! Chin up!
Superior Spider-Man question.

I doubt it. Looks like the mini is based on the original superior suit.
