They both match a few of the clues.

All three villains are new. That definitely changes things and makes me even more excited. Especially since two of them are Spidey related.

Gambit / Uncanny Avengers Rogue are still very likely.

Boomerang is a Spidey villain whose costume hasn't changed, had a recent resurgence, and fought Daredevil (a Defender).

I'd say he's possible.

 

EDIT: At first I suspected Jackal, then realized he's never had a direct confrontation with Daredevil to my knowledge. 

 

Remember, Zach said two villains in this wave have existing figures. Only one is new. 

All three heroes have had mates.  

Gambit / Uncanny Avengers Rogue and Superior Octopus seem likely.

If the new villain is a Spidey rogue, I guess Boomerang, Prowler, Tombstone, or Jackal.

If the Iron Man villain is new, then I'd guess Ghost, Madame Masque, or Fin Fang Foom.

It doesn't seem fair for me to complain about the mates themselves as these look accurate to the cartoon designs.  That said, I have never been a fan of these animated waves and I would've much preferred a comic-based Wasp and Jackal. These won't really work as substitutes either because they lack the more elaborate detail and shading that is put into regular releases.

Hopefully the cartoon fans enjoy this wave and us comic-oriented collectors get a proper Black/Gold Wasp and Jackal soon enough. Those two have been on my wish list for a while. 

Great suggestions! Feel free to offer any more alternatives to my choices. I am always open to switching up my collection in favor of superior versions.

The ideal Spider-Man is a difficult choice to make.

My favorite face design is the slip-on mask from Wave 30 Spider-Girl. Hopefully the upcoming TRU wave will bring the best Spidey yet.

The Storm and Cable you mentioned are great. I'd prefer that Colossus to the Wave 47 version if he were more shiny.
