They look like aliens!
I would love to the colorful 80's Turtles make the Minimate makeover. Throw in Splinter, Shredder, April and a Foot Soldier and we've got an entire wave.
It's funny because it's true!
I guess it's all subjective, I personally think the TLS figures have a cool chibi-esqe style and that they don't resemble aliens at all and that the playmates figures are lazily made figures that I gave up on a while ago, but different strokes for different folks.

Ew! What the hell are those things?!
The Loyal Subjects vinyl figures. I like the style of them and they've made some solid mirage and Fred Wolf turtles. And my point still stands that vintage turtle figures would be great minimates.

I also really hope we get a Tiger Claw minimate, Playmates is making 2 more variants of him in his season 5 outfits so he must have a pretty big role in season 5.

I don't need the black uniform Turtles but those samurai have got to happen.
I feel like the black turtles are more likely since they'll appear in season 4 and I'm thinking the next next wave will be Super Shredder themed since that's the lastest arc since the turtles have gotten back from space. The samurai turtles probably won't appear until later season 5 which will be in a few months, because apparently Usagi appears later in season 5.

Wait, Usagi has finally showed up?! I really gotta start watching my DVR!
No, not yet. It's promo art shown at london toy fair.

Hey Zack will the turtles in series 6 have ned outfits or will they just be repaints with new accessories?
-
-
I also really hope series 6 has more mutant henchmen, I would love a Tiger Claw, Fish Face, Dog Pound Rahzar, or Stockman Fly minimates.
-
Hey DST Zach, are we going to see any TMNT series 6 at toy fair?

That funny because I did exactly the opposite. I already had all the space Turtles so I used the clearance sale as an opportunity to pick up the other space characters. Something for everyone!
I really wanted Kraang and Fugitoid, the Space turtles were a bonus. But since I have 2 I might as well get the rest to have a complete set.
-
I went to Toys R Us and found the two packs on clearance for 3.98. I picked up Space Raph and Kraang + Space Don and Fugitoid and left Inventor Don + Sal Comander.

I love that we get so many non-mutated versions of characters. You just don't see that with any other TMNT line. I think a Fishface and Xever variant would make sense but it sounds like they're using newer stuff from this newest season for Series 6.
Maybe he could be in series 7 since he might have a bigger role in season 5

Sternako is a great MM too. He had pretty much one whole episode dedicated to him as a separate villain and popped up a few times before becoming mutated. I could see the want for him. I doubt we'll ever get human Xever, but I really want a Fishface figure!
We haven't gotten many mutant characters with out their human forms so if we get a Fish Face figure Xever isn't too unlikely, especially because he'd be easy for DST to make tooling wise.
-
He's probably the character I want the most actually, I really want to have him and Anton Zeck together in my collection. The same for human Bradford with Xever if he ever comes out. I like to have a mutant and human form of a character.

I really miss collecting these thIngs after seeing the pictures of them, those damn one per case figures are going to be hard to find. I really only want Steranko, Stockman, Hamoto Yoshi, and Oroku Saki , anyone know of a way to getting them besides buying a case or paying high after market prices? My LCS's don't carry minimates.

Yeah, that's the one I was referring to.
They also made a mutating Splinter in the vintage line which is what SCW must've thought you were talking about.

God I can't imagine collecting this line, one blind bag assortment is enough to make me want to quit Marvel.
I wouldn't mind blind bags if they didn't have so many one per case characters I wanted. I could deal with 1 but 2 is too much. My local stores don't carry blind bags so I would have to pay $20 a mate to get one per case characters on the after market or pay for a case which gives me a ton of double to have to sell off. It's a pain honestly.

Series 1 was in bags at Kmart and in comic shops (slightly different assortments). Since then blind bags have only been at comic shops. Nothing has been at Wal-Mart.
Locations vary, but they come in counter displays. Only Kmart had a clip strip
Hey Zach, will anymore of Shredders mutant henchman be in series 6?
-
80s cartoon turtles is definitely a possibility considering in season 5 there's going to be another cross over with 80s turtles, Shredder, Bebop and Rocksteady.

Still hope for other versions of TMNT? I hope they get a crack at 80s.
I just want more Mirage turtles, I doubt it would happen though. I'm not sure how well they sold.

If Series 1-5 didn't do it for you, I'm not sure what I could tell you about the next series that would change your mind. I've seen designs, they're cool.
I've collected series 1-3 but got tired of the show, but the figures are so well done I'm considering getting back into them anyways.

Any update on series 6? I'm considering getting back in to these things and series 6 will make it or break it for me.

Any good dioramas or play sets for these TMNT minimates?
